Pleasant and safe stay Mapesbury Lodge during lockdown as all flights to my country were cancelled. Manager Panos and Housekeeper Rodika extremely helpful and provided me a new TV (old one didn’t have remote), extension cord, bedside table, lamp and table fan at my request. Kitchenette very useful. Garden is lovely to sit in when people are not smoking in it, or playing football, or the two white dogs are not being a nuisance. Too bad Lodge encourages smoking by placing bucket ashtrays on garden tables, and allows pets to run around and enter rooms even though the website says “no pets allowed”. Bathroom is size of an airplane bathroom and wet floor has to be wiped off after every shower. Only two wooden chairs to sit on. Yet I would stay here again because of the pleasant attitude of staff, nice garden and quiet residential area.

Good location, not too far from transport services (tube and bus). Room was clean, toiletries and cooking utensils provided which was an added bonus. Host was responsive and promptly answered all queries. Only minus for me was low pressure in the shower so I couldn't get the power rush I would have liked. Apart from that, an overall good experience.
