Great location and vibes

This was such a brilliant hotel. The room was very clean, had everything we needed and was honestly one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Staff were all lovely and very attentive. We really enjoyed breakfast and they had gluten free bread and vegan sausage on request. Parking was available about a 3 minute walk away which is a bit inconvenient if you have a lot of luggage. Overall an excellent hotel which I can't recommend enough

Nice hotel, comfy bed, clean rooms. Only improver would be more space at Breakfast. We had to share tables with other guests, also has only 1 small toaster which everyone had to queue for

It’s all great at the facility

It was our second time stsying at Moxy and would happy to return again. The room was spotless, warm and big enough. Soundproofing was excellent and blackout curtains made the sleep even better. And the beds were soo comfortable that we didn't want to get up. Breakfast was very good with cold and hot options. And the staff were super helpful and friendly.

I had the worst experience from the first night of my stay. My neighbour had loud music playing from the moment I checked in at 7pm until 5am. I didn’t sleep at all. I called the front desk around 10pm; they came and asked him to turn it off, but he only stopped for five minutes before turning it back on. About an hour later he turned it off again, but then had people over, kept the music on, and they were incredibly loud for the rest of the night. At 5am, as I was leaving for work, I spoke to the night manager. He apologised and I requested a new room. I was told the person would not be there, so I agreed to stay, but no compensation was offered for the lost sleep, even though I made it clear how disruptive the night had been. The bad experience continued. Because I had to leave at 5am for work, I missed the breakfast I was entitled to. The first day they offered me a free coffee, the second day I was charged, and on the third day I had to pay again. When I finally managed to come down later for breakfast, the night before my entire floor smelled strongly of marijuana. The smell leaked into my room, leaving my clothes smelling and making it very difficult to sleep. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a good night’s sleep or a pleasant stay for business trips. It seems more suited to leisure guests than those travelling for work.

My stay was terrible the person next door had music blasting from 7pm when I checked in till 5am I didn’t sleep a single minute I called the front desk they came to tell him to turn it off he didn’t. The bad experience didn’t end there on the final night the whole floor smelt of smoke and it lingered into my room and ruined final nights stay.

Would definitely recommend this hotel, hotel staff were great and facilities exactly what you would expect and more from a premium hotel. Will definitely stay again next time.

All good. Room clean, well laid out. Tea tray could include Earl Grey as well as Breakfast Tea and a couple of biscuits. The bathroom requires lighting that allows women to apply makeup. ie soft frontal light in addition to the bright downward light. The current light is functional but you can't see your face to apply makeup. Very important to a lady getting ready for work or an night out.

Clean room and good breakfast options. Parking and a spot to offload were very problematic. If you know your way around or take a taxi it is fine, but do not book if you are coming to England from overseas with a car or unfamiliar with the workings of inner towns.It is on a busy street so somewhat loud at night.
