Really lovely hotel. The room was great and very quiet. The staff were very friendly and the 24 hour bar is great to have. It's well located for visiting the city, docks and shopping centre. The cost was really excellent for the quality of the hotel! Would definitely stay here again!

I had the fish cakes for supper, they were delicious.

We had 2 rooms booked both were uncomfortably hot - the air con monitor was showing 24.5 degrees and the only answer we got when we asked if we could move to cooler rooms was to switch off the air con and open the windows - building work at the hotel starts at 8am so not the best night sleep at a Moxy

Staff was courteous, Rooms were good, but, lacked the wardrobes / cupboards for clothes. Also hot breakfast in terms of Omlet / Avocado Toast will be suitable for vegetarian guests.

Breakfast was lovely.

We had booked an accessible room and were given room 203. The room was small and difficult to manouvre around in a wheelchair and the emergency cord (along with the curtain pulls) was in a corner behind a floor lamp, a wall lamp, and curtains - impossible to access feom my chair. There was a huge chair locates between the bed and the bathroom door meaning I couls not open the door and wheel into the bathoom. The bathroom was, however huge, but had the smallest sink I've ever had the displeasure to use. Despite Hotels.com and Moxy's own website stating there was accessible parking, there was NO PARKING for the hotel at all, only local car parks that are silly prices. 2 days parking added iver £30 to our hotel stay! It also was a very uncomfortable trek from the car park to the hotel, where the accessible door in and out of the lobby was broken.

It’s was brilliant five star quality for me, breakfast plentiful excellent quality, thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The room was extremely hot where we had to complain to reception, a gentleman came up tried to turn it down without success, he then offered us a fan & suggested opening the window; due to workmen directly outside the window, working on the roof, we couldn't open the window due to the constant noise; this was reported to the management & they said they couldn't do anything about it as the work should have been done last year!. If work was being carried out, customers should be informed in advance & it would be up to them if they were to continue with the stay; the whole stay, was very unpleasant & this needs looking into & a refund should be offered!

No way to turn heating off. 2 Rooms booked stuck at 25c notice said open window to cool room. Left windows open all day temp only dropped to 23c and was soon back to 25c once window closed. Building work going on outside window. Hardly any sleep at night due to heat and couldnt catch up during day as window open and noise. Shower pressure was great but otherwise would not recomend hotel.
