I arrived earlier than check-in time, but they made me a cup of tea and let me wait in the dining room while the room was being prepared. Breakfast was lovely and delicious with generous portion and wide variety of choice. I would definitely like to stay again if I go back to Harrogate in the future.

Tracy is the perfect host, nothing too much trouble. Parking was with permit supplied by Tracy and very easy to find a space. We will be back.

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend. Tracey, the owner, was extremely kind and helpful, a perfect host. Breakfast was excellent. Very comfortable bed. Great shower. Excellent location, very close to the centre of town, less than 5 minutes walk. On-street parking can be hit-and-miss - sometimes there are spaces in close proximity, but at busy times it may be difficult to park within 100m. But don't let this put you off! I thoroughly recommend staying here.

Everything was excellent

Street parking was easy , and with free passes , Tracey was welcoming , friendly and attentive . the room was very comfortable , breakfast excellent and the proximity to the town centre was very good

I had a fantastic stay. Tracey is a wonderful host, very kind, thoughtful and attentive. The place itself. Is lovely. It is immaculately clean and homely and my room was beautiful. I was very impressed and will return next time I’m in Harrogate. The breakfast is also excellent. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

So very pleased I chose Murray House. Received an email confirmation. On arrival morning, received a text from Tracey (very nice touch) checking I will be ok getting to Murray House, parking, etc. On check-in, friendly and welcoming Neil showed me my room, where everything was and how it works. In the evening, when I arrived with my bags, lovely Tracey opened the front door for me and helped with my bags to room. Tracey was so friendly and kind and her time and genuine words made my sad trip bearable. The room was huge! Bright, clean and had everything I need and everything worked perfect. What I liked best? Very clean, lush bed linen and towels, very comfortable bed, controllable heating, very very quiet, room had a 'happy feel'. What did I not like? Nothing ! Highly recommend. If weather, sights, food, people let you down, Murray House will not.

In fact I have been very impressed with Murray House, I must acknowledge that I had a very nice stay, it was just what I wanted. After work I t was a pleasure to come back to a sparkling clean environment with a great shower, a computer table or a dining facilty and a lovely welcoming host. I also managed to watch my favourite team in Match of the day on telly. I left happy knowing I will be back…

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Murray House…. sparkling clean, very comfortable. Excellent breakfast… lovely variety of serials and fruit! Mrs Armstrong was a caring, friendly lady who made us feel really at home. Will definitely recommend a stay at Murray House. David and Lin Treble.
