近くにお店は無いものの、街中は渋滞が多く結果的にこちらの方が良かった。部屋にはバスタブもあり、十分くつろげました。

レストランがついており、出ないですむ。 夕食15-20ポンド程度で、味は普通。 川向いのホテルのレストランは人気でなかなか良かった。徒歩5分。

Stayed 2 nights. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Ate there 2 nights and food was great. Free on site parking, lovely lounge to sit in, games room and small pool. Would love to stay here again.

Very noisy (creaking) floors in the bedrooms in the main building.

The location is good, very handy for travelling around. The staff were great and the food in the evenings was absolutely excellent. The beds are ok but not a great night's sleep - we stayed 3 nights and the floorboards creak a lot. The bathroom could do with modernisation. Having to climb into a bath with no grab rails, to take a shower could be dangerous for anyone with balance issues. Wifi is patchy to non-existent in some rooms though when we reported that they said they would check the signal booster. Breakfast is plentiful, but the old problem of leaving trays of fried eggs out under a heat lamp. for continental visitors there are no cold meats and cheeses. I think they could do better on that. It does get busy for food in the evening so do book. I would worry a bit about warm weather and needing to leave windows open on the road-facing rooms as that could be noisy. Not a problem in winter. Overall good but could do better.

The staff were all excellent and attractive. The room was comfortable. The spa-bath in our en-suit was a lithe noisy but fun. We enjoyed a swim in the pool, not huge, but not busy. The only negative was breakfast was not very hot but otherwise the restaurant dinner was lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Great location for exploring the south lakes and Furness peninsula.

Lovely quiet self contained pods, log burner and shower room. Private hot tub. Pool was lovely and the breakfast of good standard.

Great place to stay, pleasant staff, decent food and drink. Withing walking distance of lake Windermere.

Free parking friendly staff nice clean room the dinner could do with improving the fish and chips the fish had too much batter the chef needs to put less batter more batter than fish the breakfast nice but it hey had no favoured yoghet

Great experience staying in a Cabin. Lovely staff on arrival and for dinner service. Great food, and awesome to have breakfast delivered one morning for a reasonable add-on price. Would have been nice to know that the steam room was out of action prior to stay, but as we had the private hot tub with the Cabin this didn't impact our enjoyment of the stay

Hotel is in a rural location only a few miles ftom windernere staff ate always realmy frienfly and so helpful. Its alwayscso clean and food is always excellent. Will definately go back.

Fabulous stay, the staff were so helpful and friendly. Great pool and jacuzzi. Food was really good, lovely atmosphere and drinks and food were priced reasonably. Thoroughly recommend it, the hotel is spotless.

The cabin was perfect, really big compared to other ones ive stayed at. The hot tub was nice and private and such a good temperature. The breakfast was good and the food at the returant was great. Honestly couldnt fault the stay atall. The lady at reception was so welcoming and we will definitely be coming back!

Superior Deluxe double room on Hotels dot con for £183 a night advertised with private outdoor hot tub. I believe it's a mistake by hotels dot con the staff were lovely and helpful and this review shouldn't reflect on them or there customer service. There is no PRIVATE hot tub with this option at all. The hotel was average very creeky floors and 4 poster bed quite dated very very noisy bed. The room was reasonably clean despite mould on the bath sealant. Shame the bathroom window didn't open too. Breakfast was good apart from it bugged me that not one of the curtain rails above the doors were straight. A little overpriced for what it was. £80-£100 would have been more reasonable and that's only because it's in the lakes. Not somewhere I'd stay again. The positives: Friendly Staff, Warm Room, Food was good.

Noise from passing traffic, room smelt musky as we were in jasmine cottage & complementary dressing gowns & slippers would of been nice for when you visit the swimming pool & we couldnt open our window on one side of the room as a smokers ash tray was outside the window, food & staff we couldnt fault. Had a nice relaxing 2 day stay & would recommend it to my family & friends.

Lovely old building, good food

Evening meals are rather heavy and oily. Need more lighter food. Will appreciate to have more fish dish.
