The room was spacious and reasonably clean. Quite basic but serviceable. What was not good was the bathroom: we understand that a shared bathroom depends a lot on the other guests, but the grime on the toilet and in the bath tub was days old. We chose not to shower here this morning because we didn’t feel at ease.

Absolute dive more like a squat than a guest house stay well well away !!

Expérience désastreuse – lieu pas propre, douche cassée et service client catastrophique Une fois arrivé (25€ de Uber depuis l’aéroport), le code de la porte ne marchait pas. J’appelle : on m’annonce qu’on m’a changé d’hôtel — sans jamais m’en avoir informé à l’avance. La personne au téléphone m’a envoyé le SMS avec la nouvelle adresse pendant notre appel, preuve claire que je n’avais rien reçu avant. J’ai donc dû reprendre un deuxième Uber à mes frais pour aller à la bonne adresse. Dès mon arrivée, l’endroit n’était pas super propre et la douche ne fonctionnait même pas. J’ai contacté le service client avec les preuves (trajets Uber, SMS, etc.). Leur réponse ? Refus catégorique, aucune reconnaissance de leur erreur, aucune preuve de leur côté, en m’accusant de mentir et que eux avait des preuves mais bizarrement jamais envoyées, ton sec, zéro geste commercial. Ce sont des gens de mauvaise foi, pas du tout commerçants, et prêts à rejeter toute responsabilité même face à l’évidence. Franchement, ça frôle le mensonge pur et simple. Je déconseille totalement. Si vous avez le moindre problème, vous serez abandonné.

Location for what we needed was good but the house itself left a lot to be desired. The kitchen was too dirty to use, worktops were damaged and looked generally unkempt. The shared toilet/bathroom was in desperate need of a revamp. Most things was damaged and no toilet roll. The room itself was okay but again had damaged furniture and the overall general feel made the well worn bedding seem dirty. Even lampshade was heavily stained. The TV volume was locked to avoid disturbance to other guests. A sentiment we agree with but it was locked to such a low level we couldn't even hear it so just had the TV turned off. The house generally could do with a severe refurb.

Great location and great price but bathroom and kitchen area are tired looking and outdated. Bedroom smelt but was only there to sleep. Traffic noise from 6am felt constant for about 2 hours. Checking in and the codes were simple to use.

It is a house where individual rooms are rented out. It’s good if anyone is coming for work, if you want to enjoy with friends this is not suitable. Communal areas were neat.

Spacious room, suitable for us as a family with kids. It's just the bathroom is shared with other rooms, so we need to take turn to use it. Overall is good.

Visiting Manchester at short notice and the Old Traffod Guest House was a great spot for our visit. Instructions for check-in were clear, and the house was in a handy location to access Manchester for our visit.

Property has tired and low quality facilities. The linen needs replacing and bathroom needs to be refurbished. No sound proofing between rooms.

Cheap accommodation but you really have to consider if this is the right place for you. The pictures look reasonable but I’m reality it isn’t nice. The bedrooms stinks of cigarettes and the bed linen is so cheap and thin that it doesn’t give you confidence. Location spot on. Easy to access and plenty of parking on a game day

With this price tag I know I should not complain. We got what we paid for. Just a reminder there is a large glass door in room 2 and the curtain is not there. In the morning the sun light comes in and there is no way to shield it. I was ok as I needed to wake up early to work anyway but it would be an issue for other travellers. The wardrobe interior needs cleaning. And perhaps you may put a sign at the glass door telling people the door is not the main entrance. A lady kept banging the door two nights in a row asking me to let her in.
