What a beautiful village and setting. The old white hart is a wonderful building, original features with tastefully done modern twists. Our double bath was more like a small pool, truly truly spacious. We loved it!

Lovely place and very welcoming team. Refreshing change to a chain.
Room was comfortable, a little rundown in places. Clean but maybe hadn't been used for a while. Would definitely go again and this time get a meal as planned. Thank you.

I loved it here! I actually stayed an extra night I was enjoying it so much. The room was wonderful, the food delicious and the staff very helpful and efficient. It was luxurious and relaxing. I would definitely go again!

This is a lovely cosy B&B. The breakfast was brilliant (smoked salmon plus home made marmalade) and service excellent too. My room was very spacious, one small point - the bathroom was so hot, even though I turned off the towel rail socket the rail was still roasting. I can really recommend for business stays around Corby. I'd love to bring my wife here for a short stay to explore Rutland.

Amazing room warm and cosy spacious matteress was a little soft for me but only a little thing on the overall stay .
Lovely and quiet great tea tray and shower gels handwashes etc of a great quality (john lewis) , brilliant wifi and free and good freeview tv with good signal... overall great country cottage feel.

We had a delightful weekend at this beautiful country hotel.
It is the ideal place to recharge your batteries, quiet, well kept, our room had an excellent en suite with a walk in shower. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves excellent meals and the breakfasts are very good too.
There is a well kept garden area with tables and chairs where one can relax. Uppingham and Oakham are a short drive away.
We will visit again, definitely.

A bit of a hidden gem.
I find it difficult to get a decent hotel in this area that serves decent food and is safe & secure.
I would say that this one ticked all the boxes for me.
Would happily stay again.
