Clean hotel, some rooms a little dated but a nice breakfast and very friendly staff.

We always have a lovely stay here. One thing I would say is they need blackout curtains. Because room is very bright in the morning

This was our second visit to the Park House Hotel. First time around, there were a few small issues which without spoiling our stay, needed to be point out. Thankfully, those issues have been sorted and we had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The room was spacious, clean and fantastic value for money. Really enjoyed our stay.

So this is a review of two parts. If you are lucky to be in one of the newer refurbished rooms which is what you see on all the pictures then I can understand the higher scores for this hotel. However, if you are in the extremely dated rooms this is a different review altogether. The 1st room given was extremely dated and tired with mould on the bottom part of one of the walls. There was marks on walls, the windows you could barely see out of due to how dirty they were. The room itself I would say maybe had had just the bed linen and towels changed. I don't think it had been thoroughly cleaned for a long time. The kettle in the room was rank. The lad on the desk agreed to change our room. To what was by no means any better. Still not like advertised, dirty kettle, thread bare carpet, marks on walls etc and this room smelled. So back to reception ready to call it a day. Explained the room is not as advertised etc. we are then given a refurbed room. Which was nicer, smelled clean. We stayed the night it was comfortable but had no confidence in the cleanliness of the place to stay for breakfast. The corridors were not clean either with litter on stairwells. When you stay here please check with them that you get what they advertise online. They charge a £50 breakages deposit which based on the first two rooms is bonkers. The staff we spoke to were nice and did what they could. This is the first time I have felt a room was so bad I was prepared to just leave and cut my losses.

Amazing hotle

We have stayed here before, I payed for a sea veiw room but got a room were we had to keep curtains closed when in room as the imperial hotel was our veiw we could see the sea if I was upto window and looked left could see a bit, couldn't change told it was full and on checking out told it was classed as a side veiw very disappointing and payed £20 extra for it

The check in lady was very helpful as it looked on her system like we booked room only but I knew I had booked all inclusive. It wasn't too much trouble for her and was soon sorted. All of the staff seemed busy but never too busy to help for anything. The evening meals were lovely home cooked food. Our server Leigh was so helpful and very good with my son who is more of a plain eater. Definitely will be booking again.

Booked a Superior Quadruple Room advertised as containing 2 Double Beds. The room provided contained 1 Double Bed and 2 Single Beds, which did not match the room description I booked and paid for. The room also had a number of cleanliness and maintenance issues, including stained bedding, stained carpet, discoloured grout and sealant in the bathroom, damaged woodwork, and a leaking iron supplied by the hotel. In addition, the room allocated did not resemble the room quality and standard presented in the photographs used to advertise the Superior Quadruple Room. While I appreciate that hotel photographs may be representative, the accommodation provided was significantly below the standard I reasonably expected based on the room description and images used to secure the booking. Had the room been accurately represented, I would not have made this booking. I raised a formal complaint during my stay and supplied photographic evidence. Customer Services acknowledged my complaint and confirmed it had been passed to the hotel manager. Despite this, I have still not received a substantive response. My advice to future guests would be to verify the exact room configuration directly with the hotel before booking if the advertised bed arrangement is important to you.

Staff were very helpful and did all they could to make our stay pleasurable. The bar area was fine and the bar staff were helpful. The sea view area at the front was very nice and Comfortable. Whilst the room was decorated, the bed wasn’t comfortable, sofa bed was classified and double bed however it was horrific to sleep on. Breakfast’s price was reasonable, continental option was good but the full English was average .

This is the second time this year I have stayed at this hotel. On both occasions I have contacted the hotel prior to my stay to say that I am an amputee on crutches and I would appreciate a room where no steps were involved. On both occasions I was allocated a room with more than 6 stairs. Well it won't happen again as I have cancelled my future September booking

Excellentl, friendly staff, reasonable entertainment, good food. Particularly enjoyed the snooker room.

Very good clean hotel. Staff brilliant. Very good food. Hotel in a good position close to town. Car parking with Tram and bus stops very close by. Well worth the money

Room was clean and comfortable, corridor to the room was filthy, breakfast was OK, come to check in and was told there's an additional charge of £50 a night we stayed 3 nights we didn't know anything about it it's not on the booking when you book and it should be visible when you book, we won't be staying again.

Hotel staff are so nice and helpful

On arrival it was a quick check and the lady on reception was pleasant. £10 a night to park the car. We arrived in our room which was small, dated, hard bed and not to our taste but it’s Blackpool and we thought we would only stay for 1 night instead of 2. At 2am we had been out, had some food and we were just going to sleep when water started coming through the ceiling on the head of our bed. I went and found a staff member and I was worried for a while as he said there were no more rooms! He did find us one and it was a lot better. Good size, more tastefully decorated, sea view, we couldn’t complain. We ended up staying both nights it was comfortable and clean. We didn’t eat in the hotel. If you want to go into town it is a 10 minute walk. My only negative (not the water, it wasn’t the hotels fault) is they didn’t come and apologise for what happened and had we not only just gone to bed and been fast asleep I perhaps would have been annoyed. A small gesture goes a long way and an apology would have been appreciated
