There was nobody at the location. We knocked on the door and waited for 5 minutes in minus temperatures. We had to book alternative accommodation. I wrote to the owners but have heard nothinh. I wote

Clean room check in a bit of a shambles 2 phone calls needed to get in.Shop about half a mile away (OK by me) and a chippy.

Had to leave and find another hotel! The site is pitch black, entry is by phoning and getting a key code. The mattress had mold on it as did the shower. There was a used condom in the drawer next to the bed and the window of the ground floor room could not shut meaning the room was unsafe. I rang to ask for a different room but no reply. No staff onsite. We had to leave. A refund should be offered.

Worth the money

There was a terrible smell coming from behind the fridge which despite spraying the room with lavender spray we could not shift. We were worried this might be some sort of rodent poison which we might be breathing in. Even the cups provided ( one which had a massive chip in) smelt of this awful smell. When using the shower the toilet began to smell of sewage. The bed appeared clean and white towels were provided. The outside of the property was well lit but in a poor state with weeds everywhere and limited space for manoeuvring the car if there had been other cars there.

Needs a bit of TLC, handy for the airport, parking wasn’t great, but managed it.

No one to tell you where anything is. No breakfast was advertised. Room cold

Couldn't see the sign from the road. I felt like I was entering a hostel. The foyer stank of cigarette smoke, the rooms were shabby. The towels looked older than me, the shower didn't work properly, there were no springs in the bed, the TV didn't work, there was only 1 cup in the room for coffee. There was no parking for my van so I had to leave it on your driveway out front. Honestly embarrassing as I was with a friend from overseas

Smoke alarm battery needed changing and made a sound every 15 seconds right through the night. Noisy neighbours in next room talking until 3am. Dirty and in need of a deep clean and paint job. No staff on premise

Host was nowhere to be found. No communication

Bed and bathroom were clean enough but the hotel was very run down and shabby and dirty. We had been moved from one hotel to another...which was worse condition and location and then moved back again.

Arrived at guest house to find a note in the door. Called the number and was told to just go in, however the door handle was broken. They said they would come round. We were left standing outside in the rain for twenty mins before Someone opened the door (from inside - so they were there all along?!?). Room was dull, not the cleanest but it did the job. Won’t be booking here again though

Very convenient to Stansted airport. Property rather run down. Room was large, comfortable and warm. Staff were helpful and friendly. Shops within easy walking distance. Easy access by car.

I find the people friendly and nice and the place very clean and plenty of rooms and a lovely shower and the place is a very near to the airport well done Remarc.
