Fantastic views from our room and the bed was really comfy, five stars

All was just delightful. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, location was close to perfect, room was very clean and tidy, small, indie shops close by. All made for really lovely weekend. The only small criticism we had was the sound quality on the TV. Thank you Rocksalt. We would definitely return.

My favourite hotel on my trip so far, fantastic overall.

Lovely restaurant and a great room. We were initially surprised to find that the rooms are in a separate building to the restaurant but this didn't dampen the experience. It's a very short walk and still on the harbour - in fact it was probably better for us as coming and going was so quick and easy. The décor in the rooms is excellent and the service was lovely. We were leaving early, before the breakfast service, so we were offered a lovely little breakfast hamper which was delivered to our room.

Lovely little guest house. We stayed in the Kitten room. There was a fold out bed as well as the double and single, so we managed to squeeze four in. Ideal for a short stay and the restaurant staff were super helpful and friendly in helping us get settled. Breakfast was also amazing with a great view.

Difficult to find, on a fishmarket, no way to check in earlier then 3pm (even when the room is ready), but Folkestone is great, that makes it more then okay! Room is small but very cosy. No closets, bathroom is small and not practical. Good bed, super view, great (expensive) diner at Rocksalt restaurant. Very nice stay

Great location. Breakfast is incredible. Rooms Bit dusty and limited lighting but they are good for a short stay. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Wonderful room, fantastic food, lovely staff all in a great location overlooking the sea. Within easy walking distance to Folkestone lanes and the harbour arm.

The room was in a great location,close to attractions and many restaurants. Breakfast was lovely. But the lighting was poor in the room. No ceiling light. Nowhere to store clothes. Nowhere to put bathroom products, or a shelf for a toothbrush etc. No toilet roll holder. Could have done with a sheet on the beds to sleep under on hot days. Fridge didnt feel cold.

Lovely rooms for a short stay in Folkestone and a fantastic breakfast. Only small comment would be that in the summer when the day starts really early, the shutters don't really block the light so we were not able to have much of a lie in - although this is personal preference and only a small comment on an otherwise lovely stay.

Tout était parfait. Le personnel est accueillant, les chambres sont magnifiques ainsi que la vue . Les repas sont délicieux. La seule chose c’est qu’il n’y a pas de stationnement sur le site. On doit aller dans un stationnement payant juste à côté.

The Team at Rocksalt are absolutely fantastic. The size of the room, especially the bathroom, is the drawback. For a short weekend stay probably fine but if you have luggage the lack of space, no closet and a bathroom with a only a v small hand-sink in it doesn’t work well. I also hit my head on the unfortunately placed bathroom wall light which was right infront of the corner hand-sink.p

Great location, attached to fab restaurant so breakfast was delish but best of all I left my jacket in the room and Leon the manager called not long after we left and arranged postage. We left Saturday I had my jacket back Tuesday. A1 service.

Good room. Well equipped. Ate in the restaurant which was excellent and it’s in a fabulous spot

Always a great stay here. Very convenient, situated very central to everything. Christmas market about 5 minute walk with lots of stalls.

Small room but extremely high quality for the price. Very comfortable bed! Luxurious wet room. Could not fault this Hotel. There’s also an amazing (award winning) fish and chip shop a 30 second walk away! Can’t be bad!

Hi, we had trouble finding the premises because the introduction video did not work on iPhone somehow. It took about an hr to get someone over to show us. Otherwise, great spot, rooms are very small but functional and everything is brand new. Enjoyed our stay but it would be better if the hotel tells you that no one is available on the premises on Monday and Tuesdays
