ブリストルバスステーションからは徒歩30分位掛かりますが、有名なクリフトンつり橋に近く、またホテル周辺もレストラン・パブ・スーパーマーケットと揃っているので快適です。小さいホテルですが受付24h対応で親切・フレンドリーです。

Our room was at the top of the hotel and my aunt did struggle with the climb as there's no lift but we did have a great view of the hot air balloons in the morning. The room was of a reasonable size but some of the Georgian character is lost in the standard room interior. The bathroom was modern and the shower worked well. The hotel is well situated for the Clifton region and there are plenty of places to eat out. We brought their afternoon tea but this didn't include any sandwiches, just a scone that tasted more like a sweet roll. However the rear garden is a lovely space to relax and breakfast was very tasty.

Well situated for restaurants in the evening. Bus stop to and from Temple meads outside the hotel. Older property well maintained, friendly helpful staff. Lovely bar in the evening. Breakfast delicious. Visited 2 weekends in a row for rugby. A lovely 30 mins walk to and from Ashton Gate. And about 30 min walk to the Amphitheatre area.

Clifton, where the Rodney is located, was perfect. We felt very safe walking around and found transportation easy to access. The hotel is very proud of their restaurant. We found it good but not excellent. We wished that we had not had breakfast included as there are lots of others options near the hotel. The room was very clean… the bathroom was great with a huge tub!! Housekeeping kept everything fresh and clean. The front desk staff were awesome. Friendly, helpful and very welcoming. 4 1/2 out of 5!! ps. Check out the Clifton Suspension Bridge while you are there!!
