イギリスの宿はこんな感じだろうな、という想像通りの宿でした。 良くも悪くも適当です。 メインはパブで、宿がおまけで付いているという感じです。 アメニティはシャンプー石鹸含め一切ありません。部屋についても、ついたら掃除するからちょっとまってね、と掃除しはじめたくらいです。 ただマスターも物凄くいい人でしたし部屋をなぜか？料金変わらず二つにしてくれたりしました。 ちなみに、wi-fi有料、イングリッシュブレックファースト無料となっておりますが、wi-fi無料のイングリッシュブレックファーストが有料でした。 ま、朝なぜか時間になってもマスターが現れず、朝飯は食べれず鍵と手紙を残して帰りましたが…(⌒-⌒; )

It was okay accept having no hot water and the shower was broken the bathroom was dirty and full of mould and cobb webbs not good when you have a 7 month old baby will not be staying again

Needed updating, more sockets, lamps cleaner shower and better pillows

Nice place to stay - very convenient for events at Sparkford Hall as its walkable in 10 minutes - comfy family room which was spacious and had the essentials with a nice clean bathroom. Would stay again in the future as it was in quite a nice location.

Room was very cold with no real heat from the radiator on a very cold night. Bed not the comfiest but reasonable for the price paid.

No breakfast no hot water

Washing facilities needed maintenance, couldn’t use the shower as it was broken.

Comfy bed, clean room. Travel kettle barely fit in tiny bathroom sink to fill. Shower was scalding hot had to run on cold to avoid injury. Good location for local attractions

Room was ok. Food excellent. No hot water !! No body around when I realised.

Staff very friendly nice room and evening meal but would be too rate if they serve breakfast 👍

The whole place was tied and dirty. Even the bath water ran brown dirty water. Terrible place, stay away at all cost. Find somewhere else. You have been warned.

Hotel was great, real character building, bit about its history eould be good as would couple of chairs in bedroom. Excallent stay on very wet day

Stopped overnight on route to Southampton, nice spot, hotel was clean and tidy.

The feedback is not a reflection of the staff, apparently the property has changed hands and the new owner was not present. There was no hot water apart from the electric shower. The room had not been cleaned thoroughly. The cups had coffee marks on the outside of them. The room was cold on arrival, the heating was not on whilst we were in the room, it was cold in the morning too. It was 0 degrees that night so it was very cold. There was a small amount of toilet roll, like an 1/8 of a roll. There was a squirrel or some rodent in the roof above our room that was scurrying about making a fair bit of noise. Overall not a great experience.

Staff were friendly and helpful, but as the meals service was none existent because manager and Chef has quit. Although the drinks from the bar were OK and the bed was comfortable, there were no around the morning we left. We could not turn of the central heating radiator in the room that morning and the room was cold as a consequence

Kitchen closed as no chef. Not mentioned at booking. Extremely dirty And untidy at check in. Room was large but very outdated and musty. Not even pillow cases on the pillows. The pictures on website do not reflect reality.

A really poor hotel. Shower didn't work. Confusion at check in. Lack of food and drinks available on the menu.

We were disappointed, as the tv wasn’t working, we did inform the staff, somebody came to re-tune but still was not right. Also breakfast was disappointing, as there wasn’t a lot of choice, just cereal & toast , & coffee was tasteless!

We stayed for 1 night. It was clean and a generous size room, it could do with some updating. Staff were friendly and food was lovely.
