Superbe hôtel. Idéalement situé au cœur de londres tous les principaux sites touristiques sont accessibles à pied. Excellent bar a cocktails. Rien à redire si ce n’est que les rideaux n’étaient absolument pas occultants. La chambre etait donc illuminée comme en plein jour des 5:30 du matin!

We pay extra money for both sides of the room view, but the floor we got in second floor end of the room was in the back of the hotel and the view we got was the building construction view and the hotel restaurant roof

Perfect central location for all of london. Few blocks from Chinatown. Tube just down the street. Hundreds of places to shop. Clean rooms. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Hotel was in a great location within the theater district. It was very walkable and in close proximity to restaurants, theaters, and shopping transportation was always available. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful hotel. As a family of four we stayed in the loft double, double and it was a great size with comfortable beds. Very clean, great location and it truly has the best shower ever with amazing water pressure!

We chose St Martins Lane as we needed a bed for the night after visiting the theatre (the hotel is perfect for a lot of the surrounding theatres). We received exactly what was required, a very clean and modern bedroom with a very comfortable bed and a clean and modern bathroom. The room was quieter than expected which was an added bonus. We didn't use any of the other facilities so cannot comment on these. The reception area does feel a little minimalist and unfinished but was efficiently run. It should be noted that, when booking, to add breakfast hotels.com indicated an additional £112 total for 2 people so we did not bother. Upon checking in we could have added breakfast for £25 per person but, again, didn't bother as the cafe next door advertises a full English for £11 (and it was very good).

We had an excellent stay at the St. Martin Lane Hotel. It served as our home base for the week we spent in London. The location cannot be beat! You're right in the west end and can easily get to everything that London has to offer. Covent Garden is a great place to stay and is convenient to dining, shopping and attractions. Despite being in the middle of everything, the hotel was quiet and devoid of noise. This made retiring to our room and resting up for our next day adventures easy. The rooms are tight but this is to be expected when staying in very popular, major city locations. The beds were wonderful; we slept very well. The bathrooms have clouded glass toilet and shower stalls which make for easy sharing of the room with family. The staff were absolutely wonderful...the were probably the best part of the stay. They were warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and willing to assist with whatever you need. The only criticism I have is that the hotel is showing its age and could use a refresh. However, this would not deter us from staying again in the future. All in all, a great hotel!

While I have stayed at St. Martin’s Lane many times, for these four nights I was assigned a room overlooking a dark alleyway where an unfortunately deranged woman screamed every morning at 8:00 a.m. to be admitted to a building next door. When the occupants (understandably) refused her admission, she would launch into a 15 minute diatribe about the occupants (rather unsuitable for innocent ears). In sum, it is a great location with a great staff but lower level floors aren’t worth the price.
