This property is so lovely, The hosts Karen and Andy are so warming and kind . Ted the poodle is so adorable too ! Everything was perfect, breakfast was fresh and really nice . We would highly recommend this guest house we have stayed in many over the years whilst travelling to Cornwall and is by far one of the nicest we have stayed in and we will be booking to stay again . We loved it , just perfect home from home 👍❤️

Really lovely stay, very clean and good size room. The whole place is very well looked after. Only one suggestion would be to take an eye mask if you’re staying in the summer as the rooms are very bright first thing in the morning.

We stayed in room 1 and it seemed like the plumbing from upstairs all went through our room. We could hear all the flushes, shower etc as if it was in our room. Entrance door was noisy and we heard every time someone past the room, we could hear the people in the room above talking or their tv on. The owners were nice, breakfast was good, room was a reasonable size and comfy beds. Parking is limited to smaller vehicles and only 4 spaces including the owners vehicles. Overall it did the job but I feel if the noise issues were addressed it would improve the experience by quite a bit.

The accommodation was large,very comfortable and clean with friendly and helpful owners. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and of generous proportions. The location is good with all of Newquay's attractions with in walking distance. Highly recommended!!

We enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed an extra night. It was easy to get to, close to Newquay and easy access to get everywhere else we want to visit in southern part of Cornwall. Karen and Andy were very helpful and easy to be with. Breakfast was delicious, Andy!

The accommodations were very comfortable and clean, and the owners were friendly and helpful. Having a parking space was a real plus, and the location is wonderful for walking to everything (beaches, restaurants, town, harbor, etc.). We enjoyed the generous breakfasts served every morning before heading out to the wonderful sites in the area. We definitely plan to return and stay here again!

Karen ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin. Sehr herzlich und freundlich. Unser Zimmer lag unter dem Dach, was bei heißem Wetter zur 'Überhitzung' führt. Man kann das Fenster zwar öffnen, doch es liegt zur Hauptstraße, so dass es ziemlich laut ist (auch nachts). Allerdings macht die Lage des Hotels (alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar) und seine Gastgeberin das wieder gut. Newquey ist sehr beliebt bei den Engländern, so dass es am WE voll und laut ist. Man muss hier keinen langen Aufenthalt planen... es gibt in Cornwall schönere Örtchen zum Übernachten.

Cornwall ist wunderschön. Besonders zum wandern oder surfen. Unsere Unterkunft war recht klein aber fein. Andy und Karen, die Hausbetreiber waren sehr freundlich und gute Gastgeber. Unser Zimmer mit Dachschräge war sehr klein, sodass wir uns kaum darin aufhielten. Das brauchten wir auch nicht, da wir in dieser super Landschaft und bei dem herrlichen Wetter hauptsächlich die Gegend erkundeten. Für 3 Tage deshalb ausreichend, bei längerem Aufenthalt würde es eng werden. Schade, dass es keinen deutschen TV Sender gab. Wir würden diese Unterkunft wieder buchen.

Förstår inte hur man kan bedöma detta med 5 i betyg! Det enda som var 5 var värdinnan! Hon var fantastiskt trevlig snäll hjälpsam på alla sätt. Frukosten var också bra med engelska mått mätt. Men rummet ja slitet behövs renoveras. Duschen trasig duschstrålen så klen att det tog 25 min att få skölja mitt långa hår. Kuddarna var de hårdaste jag någonsin varit med om som betongklossar. Sängarna inget vidare! Och det luktade mögel i hela byggnaden! Och handdukarna man fick luktade också mögel. Läget bra då det är nära stan och även stranden. Men fruktansvärt oväsen på nätterna som en motorväg utanför och måsar som skrek hela natten. Sov inte en blund på tre nätter. Varmt rum med och var tvungen att ha öppet på natten ett fönster vilket förvärrade trafiksituationen! Har man i ga sömnproblem alls i livet och bara stannar en natt för att surfa eller dyl kan drt vara ok annars bland den lägsta standarden jag varit med om på mina nästan 50 resor utomlands.

Hosts were lovely and breakfast was great. Room was basic and fine for short stays. The location was convenient; close to everything without being in the middle of a noisy town centre.
