Everything was great

I think that one star out of five was about fair for my stay at this place last night. It began pretty awful - there was no parking available on site, or at the Pay and Display alongside, and when I did eventually find a spot the sign said "Maximum Stay 12 hours", well what use is that - most people arrive at a hotel at 5-6pm, and they're not likely to want to move their car at 5am! Having checked in to my pretty dire room - I could touch both walls all the way along the narrow corridor type room, with uneven floor, and a security latch on the inside of the room door to presumably barricade yourself in - the restaurant was a terrible joke. Yes, I expect a pub restaurant to be a bit rowdy when football is on the TVs, but it was horrendous. Shouting and screaming at the game some people were calling the referee a "f'ing c***' while the staff simply watched on, many children running around screaming to be heard over the raucous din, a slanging match between two tables of people, and a fight between two men at the bar. I ate as fast as possible (food was v poor too) and retired to my room out of the way. Looked out of the window and say three police cars parked outside, clearly waiting for throwing out time. The slamming doors, shouting, music, screaming tyres, continued past midnight. I stay in modest hotels fairly regularly, and I am confident in the belief that this was my worst ever stay, and when you realise that my stays included a backpackers hostel, that's a low bar!

Stayed here many times. Alway good.

Clean room, friendly staff and comfortable stay

Room not particularly clean and noise at night too much

Needs to be made clear that you have to park in a local car park,it says long stay maximum 12 hours. So have to pay at 8am,then at 8pm,as charged until 10pm!! If this had been made clear,I would have considered somewhere else

Shower not working properly in first room so asked to be moved. Second room had working shower but was directly over the kitchen extractor which was very load especially with the windows due the warm weather and no air conditioning in the room. The extractor switched off around 10pm and then switched on again in the morning and woke me up. Overall not a great experience especially for the price so wouldn’t recommend.

Room was boiling hot unbearable

Room a good size very comfortable bed, slept really well lovely and clean, the room had everything that we needed. Staff very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, and will be going back next year.

My stay was good, the only feedback I have is regarding the heat in the room. It was absolutely roasting, despite the heating not being on, the window being open and it only being between 14-17 degrees during the days.

Rooms are above a pub so expect there to be some noise.

Room to hot couldn't sleep. No fan

Room was spacious and clean. Basic amenities provided. Extremely hot. Had to close window because of noise outside from smokers etc from pub. Did not stop noise and very noisy from pub itself as room was above. Did not sleep 1st night, but 2nd was not a noisy. Bed rock hard but clean. Loved the pillows. Friendly staff, lovely cleaners.
