Lovely room, and good food cooked well

Lovely cosy room with comfy bed. Fantastic cooked to order breakfast.

Stayed for 2 nights, loverly room. Staff very welcoming on arrival. Staff in the pub were very welcoming and friendly, food was excellent with good menu ragging for bar meal to dining room. Would I stay there again, Definitely YEs

Pub in very good location for seeing the sights of the cotswold area. Nice quiet room. Pub food very good.

Nice place to stay eat drink and relax

Stay in chalet bit worn with use could do with revamping ! But excellent Pub and food day friendly Good breakfast and very nice staff Easy parking

On our arrival staff were very welcoming, and remained friendly and polite throughout. We had an evening meal in the pub which was delicious and reasonably priced. If you want an evening meal here, I would recommend making a reservation as it was full and I heard staff having to turn people away. If you’re looking for a modern hotel this is not the place for you, it’s a beautifully decorated olde world place that incorporates some of the mod cons of today’s world, I.e. WiFi, kettle and tv. The room itself was very clean and comfortable and opened directly on to a shared courtyard with tables and chairs allocated to each room which is a pleasant place to sit and relax especially given we were in a heat wave when we visited. The direct access made life easier for us as we had our dog with us, so could take her for her walks without having to trudge through the hotel to do so. The breakfast was tasty and freshly made, with a range of options available. The only negative was someone was filling their van at 5.00am which woke us and people were chatting loudly outside at around 7.30. I don’t know if either of these were people from the hotel or from the neighbouring properties/motor home park that is located on the same plot. Overall, we would recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again when travelling down south

A few things the breakfast didn’t get shown a menu we could have it was full English I t consisted of 1 piece of bacon 1 sausage 2 tomatoes and whatever egg ya wanted There was orange juice jug on the table we wasn’t asked if we prefered apple juice and2 peices of toast cost £15 not worth I at all

Kamer was goed maar werd de hele nacht uit mijn slaap gehouden door kleine vliegjes en daardoor erg slecht geslapen het was wel een klein drama want moest de volgende vroeg op en werken...

Had fabulous stay here. Outstanding food and the staff were really lovely. Especially Johny and Paul who made our visit special

The room was clean and tidy, decorated in a nice style. Staff top drawer, helpful and friendly. Food was very good, the pie was perfect. The only thing that would improve it would be a free standing shower or over bath shower. That's a preference not a criticism.

Great little place to stay in this area

I liked that my room was around the corner from the pub.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at Thames Head Inn with friends. Lovely room, excellent staff & fantastic food. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

This is a lovely pub the staff very welcoming and a warm homely atmosphere. We had an evening meal which was nice, then an absolutely lovely breakfast. The room itself was ok I didn't sleep too well as the mattress was rock hard and so were the pillows so I woke up with a bad back. Also there was no shower which was very disappointing I don't like having to take a bath where hundreds of people have been

The room, separate to and, around the back of the pub was stunning. It was warm and cosy with a controllable radiator for heat. Bed was very comfortable and we had a great night sleep. No shower, but a lovely bath with a handheld shower head. Perfect place to stay before starting the Thames Path. Food was elevated pub fare, and brekkie was the standard full English.

Room was fine. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly and attentive.
