駅から近く、周りにレストランや店があり、とても便利。部屋は、広くないが清潔で、過ごしやすい。朝食は、数種類のメニューから選ぶことができる。1日目は、サーモンとクリームチーズ、アボカド、目玉焼きのベーグルサンドを頼んだ、ボリュームがあり、とても美味しかった！また来る機会があれば、是非泊まりたい。

This was a lovely spot for my stay in Windermere. Very convenient to the train station and bus stop, as well as pubs and restaurants. My room was comfortable and roomy with a full bath, including tub, and a beautiful view of the fells when the weather was clear. Anita and Denis are great hosts - warm and welcoming. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

I stayed 2 days with my wife. Absolutely loved our stay at The Archway Guesthouse! Anita and Denis are incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts who go above and beyond to make us feel at home. The breakfast was a real highlight—rich, delicious, and made with care, offering a perfect start to the day. The location is also excellent, with convenient access to transportation that made getting around easy. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

Fantastic location, made even better by sunny weather. Our hosts were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Even my Spanish Inquisition about the contents of the full English breakfast didn't phase them. Parking was a squeeze, but we got in and out to the annoying sounds of the park assist beeping furiously all the time. One minor niggle was the teapot was too small for the 2 cups, so one of us had the ubiquitous teabag in a cup. The room was small and the ensuite even smaller, but that's the price you pay for choosing the standard room. Nice shower, though. All in all a great weekend.

The stay was lovely, Denis and Anita are very accommodating and friendly. Lemon cake on arrival and home baked cookies in the room are great touches. The guesthouse is in a great location and the breakfast is exceptional!

Anita and Denis are super nice people. This was our second stay with them. We would absolutely stay with them again. Breakfast is spot on!

Had an enjoyable, pleasant and memorable 5-day stay and was well taken care of by Anita and Denis, the chef who cooked delicious breakfast. Would love to be back!

Lovely guest house in Windermere town, close to lots of quirky shops, bars and lovely restaurants, and of course great walks too. Anita and Denis are great hosts and nothing was too much trouble, lovely breakfast too. Highly recommend

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Denis and Anita’s guesthouse. They were wonderful hosts and we really appreciated the little touches such as the lovely cake and cookies on arrival. Breakfast was fantastic and our hosts were really helpful when we couldn’t find a space to park on the street on arrival, also with recommendations for places to eat locally. We would wholeheartedly recommend The Archway Guest House and hope to return in the future. Thank you Denis and Anita
