The whole experience was exceptional lovely place in lovely surroundings complemented with great staff

Staff were friendly, rooms were cosy, food both at dinner and breakfast was fantastic. Car park is small but appears to be on the road parking too.

Team great, bedroom very noisy especially in the morning so not the most relaxing wake up call on a Sunday, dinner was great but the full English breakfast was incredibly greasy. I did raise this when I paid on checkout

Lovely pub. Well appointed rooms, and exceptional food.

The staff were very friendly. Parking outside on the street was easy. The breakfast was really good (though cooked breakfast was an extra charge but we did not mind). The bed was softer than we like which is why I out the comfort at 4 but we would definitely stay here again if we were heading to the Cotswold area.

Beautiful property with a lovely bar and restaurant. Unfortunately we didnt get chance to eat there but would love to revist again. Staff were friendly and put on a really nice breakfast spread (continental). Room was spacious, comfortable and well decorated with a nice wetroom-style bathroom. 100% would stay again!

I placed two engineers here that were working nearby, they said it was lovely, clean, great food and the staff were very polite.

Our second stay here, we upgraded 33% to ‘comfort’, but the room wasn’t all that much different to ‘classic’. Still an ideal gastro destination!

Checkd in by friendly staff. Room gorgeous. Lots of amenities. Coffee tea biscuits etc Lovely powerful shower. Bed comfy. Fan in situ. Only gripe was smell of dog but it is a dog friendly establishment. Food ok too See you next year !

We used to live in the village, the Bell was our local. What an upgrade it’s had! Rooms and food are both fantastic. Staff are great!!

Charming pub with great food

Hotel agradable con un pub de buena cocina (aunque no barato). La habitación es muy cómoda y está en buen estado, el baño también muy limpio y nuevo. Insonorización mala respecto a la habitación de al lado pero lo normal en hoteles de éste tipo. Un par de notas importantes: -Nuestra visita fue en noviembre y sí se puede aparcar en el propio hotel, por lo que leo en otras estaciones hay que aparcar fuera. -El desayuno incluido es frio aunque muy suficiente (pan de calidad, yogur, muesli, cereales , fruta, zumo, etc), si quieres algo caliente hay que pagarlo.

What a find. I will be back. I loved this pub and rooms. Beautifully presented and decorated. Food for dinner and breakfast was great. I loved all the candles and furnishings and the fire lit on a slightly chilly morning at breakfast was lovely. I’d definitely recommend the bell inn. Parking is on the streets near by so as long as mindful of residents it really isn’t an issue. It a very quiet village

A VERY popular & busy pub. Positives: Room clean, tidy & smelt nice. Good water pressure for an old pub with plenty of hot water. Great shower and complimentary toiletries. Nice having an Nespresso machine with complementary cookies, as well as the usual tea and coffee sachets. Good continental breakfast, with the option for cooked food at an additional cost. Staff friendly and helpful. Negatives: Room 2 was quite small. Very noisy, dont expect to get to sleep before 23:30, if you're lucky. No parking. Parking on the road near the pub was pot luck. Very hot room, although they did provide a fan. Be aware there are some stairs to the room, we struggled a bit, but no option to change as fully booked.

Sad to write that our experience was very poor having been big fans of the Bell in the past . Very poor communication around our booking .and very bad experience at breakfast .No sausages .Waited and waited to be served and eventually had to ask for our order to be taken .Had to make repeated requests for bowls ,glasses, butter ,bread and then stung with a breakfast charge we had not been advised of and not been charged on previous occasions.They apologised for not telling us but still charged .One of the rooms one was very noisy from 7am onwards.

Food was fantastic

Lovely staff especially Daniel who was fantastic. Very helpful and friendly. Food was gorgeous. Room was beautiful. Only let down was the smell of dog in our room even on the bedding.
