No air con in the room and despite it not being more than about 25c outside, the room was very stuffy even with some cheap tower fan which didn't really do much. Shower / bath was very slippery only a small circular non slip area in the bath so you have to be careful. Bathrooms are quite small so not ideal for everyone I would think. No fridge in the room and only 1 complemtary bottle of water but reception did say if we wanted more they were happy to provide. Would just be nice e to of had another in the rooms as they knew they were quite warm. Well cleaned and friendly helpful staff. Discount rates available for the adjoining multistory car park.
Didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on food.

Nice clean hotel located in the middle of the Harbourside.
Room was clean, bed comfy with a good shower.
Breakfast was plentiful.
Small grievance - did pay over £400 for 2 nights so assumed breakfast was included. Had to pay another £60 so nearly £230 a night is a little pricey..

Perfectly placed for a weekend in Bristol, parking right next door (at a cost), breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Staff were polite, professional and very helpful. Restaurant was very good and not over priced. Couldn't have found a better location and hotel for our stay.

Arrival at the hotel the reception area is beautiful with a lovely aroma to greet you. Staff found our booking easily & checkin was good. Disappointed initially to find out the cocktail bar is closed on the 2 nights that we had booked to stay, didn’t see this on the website. We had planned to celebrate our daughter’s graduation in the cocktail bar, which we had visited previously.
Accessed our room - aircon on & the temperature was lovely. All looked clean & tidy. Unpacked - plenty of drawers - hsnging space limited by the amount of bits they store in the small wardrobe (safe, iron, ironing board)
Bathroom compact - ok for us bring on the small side but anyone larger may struggle with space.
Room issues - lights by the bed not working & aircon unit sounded like a coffee machine at 4am both mornings. Suddenly ticking loudly & rattling, very difficult to turn off. Sound between rooms is not muffled at all, heard every cough & conversation from the rooms around us. Found a Chip on the floor beside the armchair in the room, we had no food in the room during our stay. A few disappointing issues considering the rating & cost of this hotel.

This was our third stay at The Bristol. Everything was first class! The reception guys were really nice and super helpful and accommodating (we arrived a little early for check-in and they sorted everything brilliantly). The room was absolurely spotelss so huge thanks to the Housekeeping team! We had a couple of drinks in the bar before heading out and the service was excellent, then added breakfast to our room in the morning which was really good - also huge thanks to the F&B team. I worked with the hospitality industry for a good few years which can make me a bit critical sometimes. The Bristol has always been absolutely first rate for the segment and we will no doubt be back next time we're in Bristol. Thanks!

Only a quick one night stay on the way to another holiday. I travel a lot.
Check in was ok, had better had worse, lifts very small, steps into the bar so wouldn't be suitable for a wheelchair user. Toilet flushed itself a few times within the hour of use, coffee machine didn't work in the morning and the barman automatically assumed i only wanted house wine, although lovely to be reminded of when I was young and thats all I can afford! The hotel was in a great location and the windows were double so very quiet.

I had a suite which despite triple glazing,you could hear music blaring till 3am from the waterfront.The staff said they monitor tje noise levels.The breakfast was disappointing....luke warm..
The room had dust on top of mirrors,the air con was so noisy,I switched it off..I sadly wouldn't stay again.
