Good for Battle sight seeing. The beds are clean and there is parking. Lots of pubs and eateries nearby. Price very reasonable but property needs attention but price reflects this. Only downside no one replied to my emails 😤

Booked 2 rooms, neither of them had hot water so couldn't have a shower in the morning. When i brought this up to reception in the morning, they acted shocked and surprised. I then pointed out to them reviews from other guests complaining of the same thing, some as far back as 2 years ago and some very recent, so clearly not new information to them. Im sure they will reply to this review saying 'we apologise for the inconvenience, and we will endeavour to fix this problem'. How about fix it years ago when the first person complained? I cant be fun to keep pretending this is new to you and to keep giving refunds because of it

The staff were helpful and efficient. Excellent location for visitors to Battle. Good value for money.

Our room did not have any heat; it was cold and I was ill. Someone tried to get the heater to work (unsuccessfully); they brought a space heater and extra blankets. The bathroom light was missing a bulb; loose tiles on the bathroom floor; we had to move our car from the lot before 8:30 am due to construction (on Saturday?). We needed to ask for a partial refund, but no one was available when we moved our car and left.

We were given room 11 which was the fire exit to the building the door had a small window of plastic which you could break and enter our room. When we entered the room there was a four poster full of mirrors look like a room that is rented out by the hour. There was holes in the walls in the dirty bathroom I say dirty as the shower and the taps on sink were absolutely disgusting. There was a gap in the fire exit door so light in room all night. Would not stay here again ..

Very clean and welcoming room. Connected to great Ialian restaurant in same building (although they are separate businesses.)

Unfortunately very little hot water reaching my room. However the staff were very friendly and everything else was absolutely fine

The shower didn't work in our room. Wanted to let staff know, but when we left in the morning,there was no one at reception.

Excellent location. Clean, and tidy. Basic facilities. A bit dated. Excellent location. Placed 'please service room' sign on room door as more tea/coffee was needed, but the room wasn't serviced and refreshments not replenished.

It was value for money but there were a few areas that needed attention. The tap on the sink was loose, the floor tiles in the bathroom needed fixing as a few were loose. The shower was leaking and the pole was a bit loose. The window didnt have a stopper on it and fumes from the restarant were getting in. The stair case was very grand but needed some tlc.

The bedroom was in very poor condition,outdated dust everywhere the bed was uncomfortable to sleep in and only given 3 pillows for two people.the bedroom was extremely hot every night the bathroom had cracked floor tiles which fiancée was worried about walking and cutting her foot.the water coming out of the shower was poor and terrible the hotel was in fantastic location but the whole hotel needs work paint , new carpet bit of care given to hotel make it look better

A great location right in the town centre with parking. The room was comfy but the ceiling was low (I am tall) . The shower was either too hot or too cold so I had a bath instead. WiFi and TV worked so I am happy I had a great view as well.
