The staff were all lovely, very friendly. Simon, Freya and all the people we met were great.
The room was very comfortable a great shower and plenty of storage space.

Glad we stayed in the Golden Eagle, short walk to centre of Chester. The reviews were right, lovely stay, great breakfast, topped up filter coffee was a great touch, the sausages were very good quality. I would stay again, had everything you need and a pub downstairs With friendly welcoming staff. If you want a change from your typical hotel chain, give this place a go.

パブのインに泊まるのは初めてでした。でもフレンドリーなスタッフに恵まれて、快適に過ごしました。パブ自体も趣のあるいい感じの雰囲気でした。実はthe pie bull と迷ったのでが、こちらが正解でした。外見はthe pied bull の方がよいのですが、内装はeagleの方が断然すてき。そして、家庭的な雰囲気があります。とくに朝食を作ってくれた女性が感じよかった。なぜか味噌汁まで出してくれました。
あと、近くで小さく聞こえる教会の鐘の音がなんともいえず、心に心地よかったです。

We had a great overnight stay. The room was as described—comfortable and clean, with a really comfy bed that gave us a great night’s sleep. Excellent central location, very friendly and helpful staff, and a fantastic breakfast to start the day. Would happily stay again!

WE had a brilliant short stay in Chester. We visited Liverpool by train and Nantwich by bus. The city centre and plenty of restaurants were all within a few minutes walk. The Golden Eagle was first class. The owner and staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We are already thinking of another stay with them.

Few days away in Chester. The staff were welcoming and friendly, it is a pub so expect some noise.

Had a fabulous 2 night stay there for a friend’s birthday. The staff were friendly and helpful and excellent value for money. The room was very quaint and comfortable and the price included a fabulous cooked breakfast. Only minutes walk from town so perfect for exploring Chester. Overall a little gem.
