Very warm welcome. Excellent sleep in comfortable bed. Evening meal was fabulous breakfast was amazing Excellent menu

Very comfortable room. Staff were exceptionally friendly and parking was so easy and convenient. What more can you ask? Loved the bath in the bedroom. Bathroom facilities were excellent.

Great family rub pub with rooms.

The building exterior was a little tired which let the property down but inside it was clean modern and stylish. The staff were friendly courteous and very helpful. Overall a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The food was excellent if a bit limited. Would definitely stay again

Very unhelpful younger receptionist with blond hair. Me and my colleague had to request hotel booking confirmation by email a few times each and still did not get it? I found out why later when I realised the hotel claims it has free WIFI but it does not work anywhere for more than a few seconds and this was confirmed by another receptionist and the barman. If you are business avoid this hotel the manager who could never be found for us to speak to but was about the hotel apparently? was sending messages that the wifi worked but no guest we spoke to could get online.

A pleasant stay in a homely location with friendly staff

In the right place this would be a very nice place to stay. The room was a good size with a good bathroom and shower and very clean. However if your primary objective is sleep for the night and you are even a moderately light sleeper, then look elswhere! As many reviews note this hotel is indeed right on a main road which has traffic speeding along past it constantly. There was a 20mph speed limit in place but 99% of traffic was doing well over 40 with even the local buses overtaking anyone who did try to stick to the limit. This resulted in relentless loud road noise easily bypassing the rooms double glazing. Add to this no available fan to cool the room down (theres only 5 rooms - buy 5 fans??!) and your left with a pretty uncomfortable and unsettled night. Its a shame as the room is spot on and the food on offer pretty good too.

Fantastic food, nice rooms. WiFi extremely poor I stayed for business and could not connect at all the first evening. Overall good accommodation and friendly helpful staff.

Stayed for new years eve. The food was incredible and the staff were lovely. Would 100% recommend and stay again
