Our stay at The Havelock was extremely pleasant. The hotel was very clean and well presented. Paul and Vicky were excellent hosts and were always on hand for a friendly chat. The breakfast was very good and all the serving staff were so friendly and efficient. The location of the hotel is great - with old Shanklin village, Shanklin Chine and the beach all nearby. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Havelock and will hopefully return one day. Thoroughly recommend!

Friendly couple running the hotel and they were so helpful. Room was great with everything you could need. Comfortable clean and with a sea view. If I return to the Isle of Wight I will definitely stay again.

We stayed in room 11 - although great access to the pool, there was noise from the kitchen area below (in the evening and early morning). The bathroom is far too small for a family suite. Good location - we got around on foot most of the time. Very friendly staff serving breakfast.

We decided to have a staycation here this summer and it was wonderful. The place is run by a lovely couple who are very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, a stone’s throw to the sea front and the old town and a 10 minute walk to the train station. It has a wonderful sea view from the terrace where you can sit and have drinks in the evening. It also has a heated swimming pool which is lovely on warmer days - it almost feels like you’re on the Mediterranean. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. We don’t usually do staycations but this is a place I would happily visit again. Highly recommend.

The whole experience was excellent tge staff where friendly and helpful , the location was great , the hotel was very clean and airy and everyone was very polite .

Good b&b. Good food. Friendly staff. Seaview may suffer from development between it and the sea.

Our weekend at the Havelock was fantastic. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the attention to detail Was exceptional. The gardens were stunning and well deserved of the many awards. The breakfasts were amazing and Ann’s homemade jams were scrumptious. We highly recommend this hotel 100% and we will be back- hopefully when the sun is shining!.

Nice, very friendly hotel very near the front and Shanklin's old village. Very pleasant, helpful owners. Clean, nicely furnished rooms and good breakfasts. What more could you want?

The owners were very pleasant and helped where necessary. The available car parking was awkward and limited with possibilities of blocking other guests vehicles.
