地方の村の辻にたった、パブ。 ちょうどロードオブザリングスにでてきそうなパブの二階が客室になっています。 ケンブリッジ・ニューマーケットに近く、ソーストンホールという歴史ある幽霊屋敷のあるひなびた 町にあります。その辻にたったフレンドリーな主の館。気楽にとまれます。

Ideal location for what we needed.

The room was a good size, clean and well laid out. The bed was very comfortable. Thhe bathroom was warm and shower powerful. The breakfast we knew was to be in the room and a limited offer but had everything we expected. Host was friendly and helpful. There was a good atmosphere in the pub ( no food available)

Nice and pleasnt

There is no hot food is available at this pub/B&B. The continental breakfast didn't represent value for money (IMHO). The accomodation is in a separate building that has been repurposed. The shower room was extremely small such that very imaginative plumbing had been employed to squeeze it all in. The accomodation was entirely on the ground floor so there was some traffic noise. That said, fortunately it is situated in a quiet village so the situation was tolerable. No complaints about the bed at all! Generally, the rooms were dusty and there were quite a few places where the paint was peeling off the walls. We met the landlady in the pub when we arrived she was polite but only seemed interested in extracting payment. Another member of staff showed us to the accomodation, she was more friendly. We didn't see either of them again. We didn't get instructions for returning the keys so, as it was early Sunday morning and no one was about, we posted the keys through the pub letter box. We will not be staying there again!

Room very clean and tidy,, this was our second visit and the host and her staff very attentive to our needs, Fridge stocked with refreshments, will definitely go back for another visit,

Although the bed was clean, there was a lot of dirt in the room, including aged cereal beside the fridge, and areas that hadn’t been dusted for weeks and damaged areas in the en-suite. There was a lot of noise from the beer cellar chillers.

Room was clean and ok nice and quiet, the breakfast was a bit poor as it was left in your room so was a box of cereal and milk with a shop bought croissant, plenty of places to eat within walking distance which was good

A good stay had a couple of requests which were dealt with and a good supply of breakfast cereal and croissants

Clean and welcoming Due to extreme hot weather even a large fan in the room, Staff and locals made our stay memorable Lovely white fluffy towels enhanced the shower after a sticky hot day/ night Would recommend here for any length of stay

Such friendly welcoming staff-could not fault. Unfortunately the double room was quite dirty and not in the best state of repair. The twin room was very noisy as situated directly near the fans for the pub cellar. There were no clean pots for breakfast on our second day, breakfast was to be had in room (cereal, breakfast bars etc). It served our purpose but a few improvements needed.

Room was spacious, clean and we had everything we needed. Staff were friendly, very easy check in. The only critique I’d give is the Bed wasn’t very comfortable.

We arrived later than we had planned but received a warm welcome from the hosts. We had the family room which is a good size, well decorated, warm and comfortable. The accomodation was spotless. We didnt eat there but will need to be in Cambridge in aroun 6 months time, so hoping we can stay again. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

The bed was clean but the overall room needed a good clean.

The room was clean and that’s about it the bed was uncomfortable cheap mattress shower didn’t work properly no bowl for the breakfast wouldn’t stay here again
