Plus points; - Fantastic location for exploring Beverley - The room was large, bright and airy. - Bathroom had been recently renovated - Handy car park, albeit very small. Negatives; - One window wouldn't open at all and the other would open but were too heavy for the locks so wouldnt stay open. - Items like the wardrobe, desk and bedside tables had dust on them. - The neighbouring rooms tv was on the wall so we could hear every word, which theu watched until gone midnight, we prefer to be asleep by 10am. - The curtains didn't keep the light out and being on the front meant lots of light flooded in. - Not the fault of the hotel but there is a lot of work going on in the market square immediately outside which started at 7.30/8 each morning. - The breakfast was woefully underpar. Boring, bland and poor quality ingredients. The second morning we opted for the continental which again was boring and bland.

Parking was easy at the back of the hotel. There was an outdoor seating area with heaters which was nice. Our room was clean comfortable and spacious, We didn’t have food at the property so cannot comment on quality

The hotel is perfectly positioned for visiting Beverley. The staff are so accommodating, especially the lady who checked us in on Saturday afternoon. She helped us with parking and also took us to our room. Thank you

It all felt a bit tired. The staff were good, courteous and helpful. The room was nice, overlooked the market Square, good bed. Just a bit tired in places, could do with a lick of paint. The food was not great, we had an evening meal which had been cooked long before we ate it and the breakfast was poor, attention to detail is important and we thought this was lacking.

We had contacted the Kings head through yous when we book the stay to say we were disabled and to ask about parking they never got back to us, when I checked in online a couple of days before our stay again I explained both myself and my husband have mobility issues we didnt hear anything back, when we arrive we had to phone in about where to park one of the lovely staff came out to talk to us when my husband said about being disabled she told him they weren’t a disabled friendly hotel, we went in to check in and get our key to be met with lots of dirty dishes which I understand it was a Saturday night and busy but I wouldn’t say a good practice we then were given our room which ended up being the furthest away, to be told there was no availability for the restaurant but if we could find a table at the pub part we could order from there but this was also busy, there was also no option for in room dining or to order and take to our room. When we got into the room my husband is 6foot 8inches I know taller than the average person but he was hitting his head off the roof when trying to stand straight, also he couldn’t stand in the shower either, I’m 5foot 6 and I just had enough room in the shower. We paid £10 odd each for the breakfast which came out and the sausage was burnt and hardly anything on the plate. Wasn’t worth the cost, was supposed to include a drink but I didn’t get a hot drink I opted for a Pepsi and was charged extra for it. Very disappointed in our stay.

Bteakfast wasnt as expected no juice one piece of toast with a knob of butter on the same plate as the breakfast no side plate to butter it a small teapot of tea no sugar had to ask then server brought 2 satchets npt worth the cost staff were very nice and room was clean and comfortable

Mainly Staff…. Very welcoming the room we were in Charles 1 was really nice and very clean bath towels really good …… breakfast was excellent no complaints….. will definitely stay here again 😊

Breakfast was beautifully presented, and very tasty. Staff all through our stay was lovely and pleasant.

staff were great, room clean tidy and quiet. Breakfast a bit basic, no sideplates,no juice, no marmalade. Full english breakfast was well cooked and hot. toast was served on the breakfast plate, no butter. Coffee was very good.

Great staff, very boutique style rooms comfortable and warm.
