Lovely hotel. Beautifully decorated (someone is an interior designer👌) Netflix, Prime etc available in your room. Book direct for beat price (over £20 cheaper)

Plenty of space, floor boards very noisy. Like the kitchen space to get an early breakfast.

The room was boiling with no aircon and tiny windows, miles away from reception and had a sky light on the ceiling above the bed with no curtain / blind. It must have been 30c and light at 5am.

Lovely hotel. Old fashioned feel and really nice decor. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was lovely. Only reframe is not spending more time in it to enjoy it. The area is very picturesque so if you’re visiting definitely check this out as it has a really lovely classy feel.

Booked in here after Fence Lodge hotel cancelled our booking with 48 hours to go. Also booked dinner at Lawrence but on arrival told restaurant inoperable.! Hotel car parking impractical for any car other than a mini but manager very kindly moved his car in order to accommodate mine.

There was no restaurant on the evening and apparently they do not do food on Wednesday (I guess no guests need fed on Wednesdays?)which it does not say on Hotels.com booking site. I am not limited to where I stay and prefer to book hotels with the basics of hot food and adequate parking after a hard day.

It was a lovely hotel, friendly, helpful staff. Very clean and every comfort for your stay catered for . Fabulous restaurant . Definitely returning.

Excellent stay, everything about the Lawrence was just perfect

Nice rooms, bar area and free breakfast facilities.

It was fine, nothing spectacular. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. The fire alarm went off at 6:00 in the morning due to someone taking a too hot shower. The chef was not in all week resulting in no evening meals being available, but great food is served nearby.

Pleasantly surprised at the very high standard of the hotel. For the price paid, a very good hotel. Overall, a top experience. Will definitely come back next season.

Hotel facilities very good .Only downside for me was no evening meal on the evening I stayed and the town itself was very quiet only takeaways for my evening meal. Monday night so a few restaurants shut . I’m sure any other evening it would be fine!

Beautiful little hotel! The bedrooms, and indeed the whole place, was tasteful decorated with lots of lovely touches around & about. Michael, the owner, was very welcoming & helpful & went out of his way to make sure we were looked after, even arranging some takeout breakfast as we had to be up & out first thing. The rooms were comfortable & stylish, I had an excellent nights sleep! I was just sorry we weren’t there a little longer to take advantage of the downstairs space & well stocked ‘honesty bar.’ I came with my parents & their dog who was also made to feel very welcome, by both Michael & Hetty, the hotel dog. The dog bowls & treats in the room were a lovely touch helping Dolly have a good night too! All in all, a fab little find!

Great hotel in close enough reach of Burnley town centre, with a cheap taxi journey. Friendly and helpful staff with plenty knowledge of the area. 10/10 experience.
