This is the second time for us to stay at this hotel. Everything is perfect, especially friendly staffs! Thank you very much for your warm welcome, and we’ll definitely come back soon:-)

5分以内で駅やバス停があるので便利です。 ただ、タクシーや車だと目の前の道路の交通量が多く、停めにくく待機しにくい場所です。反対車線の方が停めやすいです。 ポーターさんがいないので、自力で荷物を運ぶ必要があります。 スタッフ、クリーニングスタッフ、皆さん必要最低限のコミュニケーションを快く取ってくれるので快適でした。 テムズ川沿に徒歩3分程度でいけるので朝夕のお散歩も楽しめます。夜景がとてもキレイでした。周囲には大きくて新しいビルが多く、素敵なレストラン、バーが充実しているので、大人の夜遊びには困りません。

Radiator in the bathroom wasn't working so was a little cold for a shower

A brilliant hotel, clean, comfortable with a great breakfast. It's a fantastic location to everything in Southwark..definitely coming back. A big thank you to Sam at reception who made us very welcome as soon as we stepped in 😀.

Shockingly Poor Experience – Nowhere Near the Standard Expected We booked a last‑minute stay hoping for a small break while my wife undergoes chemotherapy, but the Mad Hatter Hotel delivered one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve had. Samy at reception was the only positive, polite, helpful, and clearly trying his best. Beyond that, the stay fell apart. Dinner was a mess. Long delays, wrong order, dismissive staff, and food that arrived lukewarm, stale, and lacking flavour. Even paying was difficult, with no staff around and an abrupt attitude when someone finally appeared. Breakfast was worse. No staff, no hot food, no milk, no hot water, just juice, bread, butter and cereal. Cleaning staff were left explaining that the breakfast team hadn’t shown up. Only one incomplete cold breakfast eventually arrived after waiting 1hour and 20 minutes and the second never came at all. We left early, stressed and disappointed. For the price and reputation, this was completely unacceptable. The hotel simply did not deliver the basic level of service or organisation expected.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, nice relaxed atmosphere. Good location with good windows so no night time disturbance. Good price, will definitely stay again.

Yes, Liam (on reception) was courteous and extremely helpful on our arrival. The lady at breakfast was efficient and polite.

Great stay at the mad hatter

Excellent small hotel in the heart London. An easy walk to many attractions. Very friendly staff. A nice change from the big chains.

Excellent value for money. Room large and comfortable which had everything needed including a fridge with complimentary water and milk. Good selection of teas and a nexpresso machine. Room also had a ironing board, iron and a safe. Bathroom with a bath and a shower. All toiletries and a dressing gown. Breakfast very good which is included in the price. There is a breakfast buffet which had, cereal, yoghurt, meat, cheese, melon, pastries, bread for toast, cold and hot drinks plus you can order hot food. Staff are good. Hotel is located near to Southwark underground and Waterloo and blackfriars Bridge so near to tourist attractions. Would recommend staying here.

Lovely and clean. Comfy beds. Friendly staff throughout. Great atmosphere one pub/restaurant. Food was lovely, generous, fresh breakfast.

Bemötandet när vi kom var väldigt genuint och trevligt, och personalen var hjälpsam med att ta hand om vårt bagage då vi kom ganska tidigt innan inchecket. Personalen i restaurangen var också vänlig och hjälpsam, vi kände oss väldigt välkomna.

Amazingly friendly staff, and a real "old world" English atmosphere in a remarkable central location with very extensive breakfast options.
