The Old Hall Inn

We can’t rate this hotel as when arrived wet, hungry and tired after a 22 mile walk the Old Hall Inn was CLOSED FOR BUSINESS and has been since January 2025!! We booked this last October 2024 but no one thought to let us know We are really not impressed with the service Then to add insult to injury Hotels.com asked us to review our non-existent stay We have yet to hear from Hotels.com with an explanation or at the very least an apology

Closed!!! Booked through Expedia a year in advance, no notification of closure received. Only found out 2 days before because I happened to need to look up some info and saw comments on other websites saying it had closed Jan 2025!

The food was lovely. We had an evening meal the first night and breakfast both mornings. The only down side was the bathroom was a bit dated and room was tired but other than that everything was fin

Very friendly hosts, comfy room, great brekkie. Evening food was very good, and portions perfect.

Booked for a 1 night stay in a small double room. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, if it was a longer stay planned i would have to either request a room change or would have had to leave early. Food was freshly cooked and hot.

This was a really comfortable stay in a beautiful building. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was great.

Lovely old pub with original feature's , the staff were really friendly and helpful . We stayed in the pub itself, really nice and quiet . bed very comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Would stay again

Had a lovely stay went for the 1940’s weekend at Grassington bed very comfy, quiet, really good breakfast , staff friendly only one complaint we ate on the evening in the conservatory but the floor was full of dog hair, yes I get I’m in a country pub that allows dogs but I honestly wanted to get a soft brush and give it a good sweep and not having a dog would of preferred to have eaten our evening meal in the pub area would I stay here again the answer is yes but I would request to not eat in the conservatory

This was our second stay at old hall inn Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Good pub food in the Eve excellent cooked breakfast Dog friendly situated in a most beautiful region

A very old property requiring a lot of TLC. Staff worked ver hard and food was excellent and large menu, breakfasts brilliant. Bathroom needed TLC. Some non- slip material needed for step leading from shower, plus possibly hand rail(we are elderly but useful for all)Outside could be smartened up, front door(very old)could be restored to original condition.

This was a last minute overnight stay which was nice

The room was not as nice as in the pictures on the website. There was dirt in the bathroom from a sky light window which had something growing on it, the shower door kept swinging in on you whilst showering, wasnt fotted right. Breakfast was nice but only served between 8 snd 9, we got down at 8.40am had cooked breakfast but wanted some toast for afters but because it was 9.10am they had cleared everything away and said breakfast was finished. We also had dinner in the restaurant one evening at 19.30hrs. The main meal was very nice, we asked for a jug of water but never got it, we waited for the desert menu but it never came so we went to the bar and asked for it and was told the kitchen was closed this was 20.50hrs, very disappointed as i was looking forward to it. We waited at the bar to ask for some more teabags for the room, was ignored for a while then someone noticed us and gave us some. Also there is limited parking, do not park under the trees as your car gets absolutely bombarded with Rooks poo and its nearly impossible to get off. The lady at breakfast was kind enough to give me some soapy water to wash it off.

The Old Hall Inn is a lovely pub with lots of character, The staff were very friendly & helpful, the food was very nice with good portions, the room we has was a decent size, with a smallish bathroom, but was still nice, comfortable bed. Very nice breakfast, would definitely stay here again, thank you Danny & the team for the nice stay

Stayed for one night in the family room . Basic but clean , but very small shower room.. The landlord and staff were very welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Food really nice , we had a evening meal , which we couldnt fault. Over all we had a lovely stay , and would definitely return.

Comfortable two night stay. Clean and cosy. Food good and staff very pleasant and helpful.

Nice location , about a 15 minute drive to Skipton. The hotel is in need of a touch up, elegant old building but with wallpaper papering over the cracks . Our room was spacious, however, everything creaked and we could hear the next room along as clear as day . I’m not sure what the set up is with bar staff and the guests, we didn’t receive any hellos or goodbyes when we went in and out . We were ignored and found it unfriendly so decided not to eat there,, we went for breakfast 8-9 even on a Sunday , no one about to hand our keys to when we left summed it up. The food seems to be good, they had a party of 33 in the first night so could only offer an early slot, there is not much to do in this location apart from walk so we eat in Skipton .

A one night stay for my birthday the room was on the ground floor of an annex and was well laid out and comfortable. The evening meal and breakfast were both excelent
