COVID禍での滞在となりました。 営業していてくれただけでもありがたいですが、初滞在のホテルです。 パブの上階がホテルとなっているスタイルです。 夕食もパブで取れるので便利です。 チェックイン時は19時くらいでしたが、パブは盛況で混雑しており、チェックインに時間を要しました。 COVID対策で入り口での待ちが発生します。 食事も混雑していましたが、テーブルをすぐに準備してくれて、味も美味しかったです。 部屋は必要なものはそろっていますが、テーブルがないのが残念。 シャワーのお湯もすぐ出るし、朝食もフルブレックファストで満足の状態。 スタッフはフレンドリーで親切なのでまた滞在したいです。

I was ready to love this place, it’s cute and tucked away, perfect for what I needed for the night. However, while trying to take a shower, the water turned off on me. I had to get out, dripping wet, go downstairs into the pub full of dinner time patrons, and talk with someone to address the issue. I spoke with the waitress who was the first person I came across, she went to speak to the manager, who took his time coming to speak with me. He didn’t seem all that concerned with my being inconvenienced. There happened to be a plumber at the bar, who brought in his toolbox and we all trudged up to the room to look at it. He assessed that something needed to be replaced, but would have to wait until Monday. This was a Saturday night. So I was left to hope for the best as it had turned on again in the course of their looking at it. However, once they left, and I tried again, it would turn off on me four more times, and wouldn’t immediately turn back on. Nothing was offered, not a separate room or apology really. It was very disappointing and frustrating and cold.

The room was fine, although for some reason there weren't any hangers in the wardrobe. I was thankful for ice from the bar downstairs (it was another very hot day), and also for the quiet neighbourhood. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again.

It's fine for the price. Has free parking. The guests in one of the other rooms appeared to have used all the hot water in the morning, so we and two other guests in a different room had to have cold showers when we got up.

Parking was very easy. However, there was no breakfast available.

Staff didn't pick up the phone, was locked out for over an hour, ended up booking somewhere else and didn't get to bed until after midnight. Exterior of the property is tatty Refused a refund.

The room was small and very hot as the window didn’t open that wide. It was very clean but a little dated. Plenty of parking and the lady behind the bar was welcoming and helpful.

Uncaring staff! Travelled several hours for a funeral, were told they would wait for me as they were about to close. Arrived, told them I was outside the property and then they hung up on me and wouldn't open the door! No compassion, just greedy!

Clean, convenient location near the beaches and a little shop next door. Parking was easily available. Overall very good.

Room was basically clean. My only complaint is that the shower worked intermittently. When I got it to a temperature that wouldn’t scald me it stopped. After a few minutes tried it again, got a burst of water for 1 minute then it turned off again. This performance repeated several more times til I gave up on it. Staff were friendly. Plenty of parking.

Wow, thank you to Sue and her team, Sally, Sal and Will. What a warm welcome! We had such a lovely time with you all. A well run, friendly and warm spirited pub and B&B. The drinks were cold, and flowed easily and the food second to none. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay. No wonder the local patrons enjoy spending their down time with you!

Great staff. Uncomfortable bed. Good value.

One of the best welcome I’ve ever received in a hotel ever. The barman was more than happy to talk everything through have a laugh at a joke as well

Nice people overall, but at least my room was really small than the carpet was disgustingly dirty

Everything was fairly good.

Although the inn was doing a brisk trade we received a warm and friendly welcome. The room was fine for an overnight stay though the bed was a little soft for my liking. I would definitely recommend.

A really nice stay again at the hotel i would recommend it. Friendly staff good food & drink.
