WiFi code wasn't obvious but minor. Other than that lovely room with tons of facilities. Good pub with lovely cobs and beer etc Would stay again when in Stourbridge!

Mijn 2de keer dat ik heb een overnachting geboekt hier. Mooi schoon kamers. Geweldig pub met lokaal bieren. Geweldig eigenaar en medewerkers. Heel vriendelijke lokale mensen en 5 minuten lopen van het stad centrum. Engels ontbijt van de hoogste niveau voor 9 1/2 pond. Mooi beer garden en gratis parkeren voor gasten. Top top locatie en niet duur.

Great location,room and amazing breakfast good value for money

Superb pub and rooms steeped in local history - Robert Plant started his career here playing blues guitar aged 15 in the upstairs blues club (sadly not there anymore but the history is palpable). The pub is a treasure trove of history, and so well preserved, from the original staircases and ceramic tiling on the walls, to the original bar. My room was just sheer excellence. Comfy bed, every amenity laid on, crispy linen and a boiling hot shower. Sadly the pub no longer serves food other than fantastic cob rolls and the best chips I have ever had, but there's plenty of great restaurants within an easy walk. Beer lovers will drool at the offerings on draught - the menu is eyewatering. A great find and definitely one to revisit.

Clean, nice tv, great shower. Breakfast is awesome. Great selection of beers & bar snacks.

Staff very helpful. The room clean, but only problem was the failure to make up the room as requested.

Incredible building and great bar with nice offer of savory snacks (crisps, sandwiches, sausage rolls) as well as a great choice of beers. Room was large and well equipped- lovely tray. All details considered for a comfortable stay (including ear plugs provided - our room was at the front and the traffic was fairly heavy). Nice modern bathroom with good shower. The only slight disappointment is that for such a big room, the bed was just a standard double. The room would fit a bigger bed, and I think that would make it feel more worthy of the price point. Would stay again but would request a quieter room at the back next time. We left early, so didn't get to try the breakfast unfortunately.

Really freindly staff and a great ornate timber bar and tiled stairs with local history. Parking outside the pub.

Room was lovely, comfortable and adequate for my needs. Food, although limited was good. Sandwiches and chips available. Didn’t have breakfast as served too late for my needs. Staff friendly. Would stay again.

Stayed for one night and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. A warm welcome, excellent room and facilities, fabulous breakfast, and I even got to play with the dogs, a couple of red Welsh collies, after breakfast. All staff were so welcoming and helpful.

Great place to stay if you are a real ale buff, as there were plenty to choose from. A place with a little history. Would definitely stay there again.

Twenty-plus real ales, friendly, knowledgable manager. Historic tiling was amazing. No evening meal, but a super huge breakfast. A convenient stop on the way north.

Absolute gem - beautiful accommodation and fabulous staff. Highlight of my stay was throwing the ball for their two awesome Border Collies and chatting to the staff/managers at breakfast.

Great traditional pub in a suburban area ( visit to relative) wonderful publican and staff. Parking was very tight. Stayed in the room frequented by British rock stars Robert Plant and Christie McVie, which was a nice. Despite being next to rail station we heard nothing. Fabulous’full English’ breakfast - try it !! No elevator - quite a number of stairs.

Always a pleasure to stay! We really enjoy the staff and atmosphere at this very traditional and popular pub!!
