Diners club card was not acceptable. The location is nice, close to a bus stop, restaurants and some paths to mountains. Room is clean having short bars to hang small laundry, like underwears and socks. The breakfast is so wonderful! I don't know other BB in Keswick, but I recommend this BB.

The Silverdale is a great B&B in beautiful Keswick. It’s located on the edge of town where everything is a short walk. It’s a fair size property which is a fair few years old. We were greeted by Mark who kindly helped us with our luggage and showed us our room for five nights. We were allocated room 7 which has a beautiful view overlooking the edge of Latrigg. The room was found in clean condition with everything you need including plenty of Yorkshire tea which is restocked daily. The bathroom was also clean and the shower was excellent with good pressure and temperature. The only side note is the room and bathroom does need venting due to the age of the house after you shower and slept. Mandy cooks up an amazing breakfast where your choices are explained on a card in your room. Obviously a full English breakfast was partaken every day. Plenty of tea a toast were served as well. There is a small parking area which is an absolute godsend in the area as parking isn’t great. There is room for 4-5 cars at a push but Mark will assist if you park on the road. Overall a great stay and would recommend and return.

Amazing place, we have been warmly welcomed, given all the information we needed, all the questions we had were answered. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice&freshly cooked. The owners are extremely nice and helpful people. Would recommend to everyone from the families to solo travellers. Excellent!!!

Parking was available on the street, but, you had to search for a spot. Ideal location very close to the town centre. The breakfast was really good. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Overall l would have no hesitation in recommending silverdale to fellow travellers.

Friendly, welcoming reception when I arrived. I had everything I needed in my room, it was really cosy and clean. My cooked breakfast was absolutely lovely, everything nice and hot and well presented.

Great location , off street parking , hosts really friendly and accommodating . Excellent breakfast also !! Loads to do and see within walking distance. So glad we chose to stay in Keswick , and really happy with our choice of the Silverdale 😊

Nice guesthouse in quiet area close to main downtown area. Hosts are very friendly & helpful & cook a wonderful breakfast. Comfortable bed, lots of attention to detail ensured a very nice stay for us.

We liked the closeness to the town centre. That there was off street parking. Excellent choice for breakfast and very friendly owners who couldn’t do enough for you.

The property was in walking distance to the main town and facilities. Hospitality was excellent, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was massive and very tasty. On site parking was a bonus.
