Warm welcome. Good food. Good beer Poor quality pillows Poor quality hangers in the wardrobe. No shelf in the shower and no shower mat. otherwise, most enjoyable friendly and vibrant Pub.

A very pleasant stay, friendly staff, room clean and tidy, excellent evening meal and breakfast.

Bâtiment typique, avec pub. Les repas et les petits-déjeuners sont très bien (qualité et quantité). Le patron est extra, de bon conseil. Bonne ambiance générale.

Everyone was really friendly and really accommodating. We needed to eat breakfast earlier than the advertised times and this was no issue. The garden was great and the play area for the children fab. Very dog friendly.

Lovely traditional pub, friendly helpful staff and amazing breakfast. Accommodation was clean but very dated and bed was very small and uncomfortable.

Rummet kändes inte speciellt fräscht. Ingen god doft. Täcket/lakanet doftade inte nytvättat, örngotten likaså. Kuddarna var hårda.

Clean good sized room, towels, kettle, mugs/tea/coffee making facilities and ample breakfasts. Stayed in family rm and lucky to not have other people stay next door so had the shower/toilet to ourselves. Staff were nice, friendly and polite. Flexible in having takeaway sarnies for lunch in place of breakfast. Decor a bit dated and room a little too room, but on the whole felt very comfortable. Thanks 😊

I recieved a warm welcome and was shown to my room. The room was compact but had everything I needed and was really clean.

We stayed at the Sorrel Horse for one night and would certainly book again. The rooms are in a separate building to the inn itself so are nice and quiet. We were in room 6 which faced the road but there isn't a lot of traffic so still peaceful. The room itself wasn't the biggest but perfectly fine, with plenty of storage space and immaculately clean. Breakfast in the morning was a full English and delicious, though just cereals etc were on offer if you want something lighter. Add to this the friendly staff and I'm not surprised it gets rated "fabulous".

The diner was very good but the bed was not comfortable.

Ive eaten there before ,so when i needed to stay near Stowmarket i opt to give it a try. We had a nice dinner Sat eve and retired early even though they had music on that night. A good nights sleep and a really good full english breakfast in the morning which set us up for the day ahead! We will certainly stay there again!

After a really long drive it was absolutely wonderful to arrive at the Sorrel horse. The room was lovely , cozy but spacious, the pub was nostalgic and the home cooked food fantastic. There was even a playpark for the kids outside. 10 out of 10!

A pleasant inn. Arrived moments after 11pm all was locked up. I phoned a number on the door and was let in. I.e. if you’re going to be there after 10, let them know etc. Room was fine. Bed and shower all okay. Thank you.
