We stayed 3 days in the room with the private terrace and hot tub which could be enjoyed even in the middle of winter. The pub itself was very welcoming with very good lunch and evening meals and an excellent breakfast. Dogs were also made welcome with an outside area exclusively for them, but it is a shame not all dog owners apprecited this and were not responsible for cleaning up after them. If in the summertime should the pub or the very nice large public gardens get crowded all residents could take advantage of the residents garden. We hope to return with family members later in the year as it was so good. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay.

Second stay at the Three Lions. Lovely Inn - friendly and attentive staff. Dog friendly. Good menu options. There was no hot water in the wash basin - which marred an otherwise pleasant stay.

Room fine. Unfortunately given the incorrect times breakfast which did not exist. Unable to log onto WiFi which was very inconvenient

Room was clean, the highlight was that it was dog friendly. WiFi wasn’t the greatest but great if youre looking to be disconnected from social media.

Great dog friendly room and pub to visit. We only stayed one night - it was a nice location from the new forest. Dinner was delicious, my partner said it was perhaps the best pie he’s ever had, and the included breakfast was well worth it. Only suggested improvement could be a new carpet for the room, but this is always tricky for a dog friendly room.

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Lovely staff, easy check in, fantastic room with a private garden & hot tub and great food.

Large room and bed was comfortable. Large bathroom with shower over bath. Toilet hard against the wall by the door was the only thing that was annoying. Food in restaurant was very good.

Lovely secluded place, own private hot tub which was lovely and clean, the room was spacious and clean. The only thing which very slightly let the place down is some parts are starting to show their age, for example the shower head holder was cracked, these were very very minor bits though. I can’t comment on the breakfast as I didn’t have any, the only other thing I would’ve liked was WiFi. Overall a very nice place to stay, I would definitely recommend staying here and I would visit again.

Friendly staff, well maintained and clean rooms

The hotel is excellent. The staff made me feel welcomed! The food is excellent!

Really nice clean cosy room. Nice touches incl folded towels on bed with chocolates. Hot tub terrace was private and nicely laid out. Hot tub itself was really nice, warm, and clean, with cool lights! Menu and specials were varied and plentiful. Food was really nice. Staff friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Really nice room on the ground floor, easily accessible for disabled. Lovely people running it, staff very good, highly recommend. Food was delicious and beautifully presented.

We stayed for two nights in one of the rooms with a hot tub, luckily we decided to go for the hot tub as my wife had an accident just before our trip & was using crutches & these rooms are easily accessible, sadly she couldnt use the hot tub but i could 😅 The Three Lions is a lovely venue, plenty of parking, lovely grounds around the buildings with plenty of outside seating, our room was nice, clean & tidy & the small private decking area with seating & a hot tub was lovely to be out in & listen to the birds. We had breakfast & dinner both days at The Three Lions & the food was amazing, i couldnt fault any of it, well presented & just cooked perfectly, the staff were all professional, friendly & helpful, always welcoming & making sure we had everything we needed & that we were happy with the food. We were very happy with our stay at The Three Lions & we are already planning another visit to The New Forest next year & we will definitely be considering staying at The Three Lions again, thank you to all the staff for making our stay absolutely faultless.

The room staying in and the associated pub/restaurant were all very good. Clean, well presented room with all the things you would expect, including an electric fan to use when the nights were hot! The pub had a great selection of drinks, including two real ales on draft. Due to other plans we did not eat an evening meal but were delighted with the quality and selection of the breakfasts. The staff were very attentive and did all they could to make sure our stay was great. Would highly recommend and would have no hesitation in booking again when i'm next in the area.

Excellent food

The outside area was great for the dog and the hot tub was a good addition.

We stay here every year as a stop over on our way from London to Cornwall. Lovely pub and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are very helpful

Lovely rooms, and little terrace with jacuzzi. Staff are exceptional. Very warm, friendly and helpful. The staff really make this place a great stay. Breakfast was good too.

Very informative staff and enjoyable breakfast. Property has large car park and benefits from petrol station close by. Room we stayed in (Oak) was subject to irregular heating system noises which disturbed sleep.
