Hospitality is excellent in the Cotswolds area with few tourists and a good place to stay. I am pleased with the nice appearance and rooms. There are no so-called souvenir stores, but the life of the local people is here, which is different from other Cotswold villages.

ロンドンから1泊2日で、コッツウォルズに行き、レイコック・バイブリーを周り、宿はチェルトナムのザウィートシーフィンに宿泊しました。英国在住の日本人のブログで知ったのですが、宿は、ここにして大正解だったと思います。わたしもまたコッツウォルズに行く機会があれば、こちらに泊まると思います。特にインテリアがとても可愛く、外に飲めるテラスがあるので早めにチェックインして夕飯まで一杯飲むのがおすすめです。レストランは本当に美味しいお料理がいただけるので、ぜひここで召し上がってください。宿の周辺は他にやることが何もありませんが、静かで歴史ある街並みはとても素敵です。歯ブラシ、スリッパはないので、持参が必要。周辺に同じ名前の宿が結構あるので、ナビに入れる際はぜひ住所で。

Comfortable rooms, staff were great. Wonderful breakfast. Did feel dinner was a little expensive, but again food was very nice.

This was our third stay at the Wheatsheaf and it is consistently excellent! I wanted to take the bed home! Breakfast is great, restaurant and bar areas have a warm ambience. Staff are friendly and efficient

Fabulous dinner, lovely room, helpful staff. Coffee machine in room was not working so deducted a star though staff brought me a cup on request.

Parking was safe, staff were welcoming and excellent, and our superior room was lovely with a comfortable bed and lots of extras in the fridge if you wanted them.

Great service and they really went the extra mile with the bday decorations in the room, it was really appreciated!

La 1ere nuit s’est tres bien passée, le restaurant très bien, nous avions prévu de rester une seule nuit, finalement nous en avons pris une 2ème pour explorer un peu plus les environs. Le personnel très agréable, rien à redire. La terrasse en été doit être top !

A lovely room (superior) — bed was nicely sized and comfortable, and they kindly offered extra pillows as requested. Bathtub felt luxurious! Liked the touch of coat hooks and was impressed by the tea and coffee station — a proper metal kettle (not cheap plastic); lovely Birchall tea; nice homemade allergen free shortbread bites. A Dyson hairdryer was offered, too, which added to the touch of luxury. Room was generally very clean (apart from the dusty radiators and fan sitting in the corner of the room — could be easily rectified). Food was absolutely amazing. The Sunday roast was such great value for money — beautifully cooked and generous portion size. Well worth the money. I was very grateful for the kind accommodations made to some of the meals as per my pregnancy requirements, too. Nothing was too much and the service was excellent. I recommend the brioche bread and butter with bay leaf custard, too — delicious dessert! Only slight issue was that it was a tad noisy as our room was right by the door to the staircase down to the bar and restaurant — but to be honest, if other guests had been more considerate in not slamming doors or talking loudly as they walked back and forth from their rooms, that may not have been so much of an issue. Overall we would be very happy to return and stay here again. Very impressed and the food and accommodation made for a nice short getaway. Thank you to all at the Wheatsheaf Inn!

Great pub in a lovely, picturesque village. The restaurant serves great food and the pub is cosy with a fireplace. Rooms were very comfortable and warm despite the snowy weather. Breakfast was really high quality, very tasty! We will be back!

Very good location highly recommend very Christmassy

Everything was amazing. The room was outstanding, beautiful, comfortable, spacious with great attention to detail. The bath was the focal point of the room and I didn’t want to get out of it. Even provided locally sourced luxury toiletries, perfect for a relaxing bath. The rest of the hotel had a cozy atmosphere with lovely decor. Staff were friendly with a relaxed yet still professional service. Just what we love, a quality establishment but without any pretentiousness! The food was another story altogether, well presented, generous and generally yummy. Breakfast was the same, lovely food and a great selection on the buffet table. Would definitely stay again if visiting this area

A beautiful building in a lovely setting. The food was great but our room although very nice, was freezing in the bathroom. No radiator or towel warmer to give any heat at all. Upon checking out, staff didn't ask how our stay was at all. However overall, a nice experience.
