The room smelled strongly of chemical cleaners and mildew. The throw blanket looked like it barely survived WW2, three out of the four pillows felt like they were stuffed with lead and leather. The whole wing was lit with ugly fluorescent lighting. Had to sleep with the window open in the middle of winter to avoid major headache and lung issues.

Had an amazing stay. The building, grounds and the rooms were all stunning and clean, but what really stood out were the staff - everyone we met at the hotel was not only super-friendly but able to take a moment to have a good chat. Will definitely be back!

The first room we were given was not what we expected as we had booked a garden view. This was resolved quickly by the receptionist. The second room was beautiful as was the view. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room well stocked and clean.

Parking was a free for all. Reception smelt of stale drains. Room was big and clean but in an annex with a load of students running about until the early hours and REALLY hot! Food was awful. The saddest breakfast ever, really poor, and dinner included the one vegetarian option of mushroom risotto with no accompaniments for £28!!!! I went to one of the local pubs. Not bad as a hotel, but there are loads better for the money considering it’s not a great location either.

Lovely hotel with beautiful scenery as a backdrop. Staff all very helpful. Stayed over following a family event for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration and it was a great venue for it.

Lovely character hotel. Nice food and great service. Only disapointment is that the gym is no longer available. There is a spa but its limited opening hours and an extra charge of 25. The old gym though a little tored was great and open all hours. But for that a five star review.

This is my first ever time at Wood Norton Hotel. It was an 8 hour stay only. My room was in one of the new Red Brick wings outside of the Hotel itself. Next time, I would categorically ask for a room in the Main Hotel with all the amenities to hand. Lighting to the Red Brick extension is non-existent. Not easy in the dark.

From check in up until the time we checked out, every staff member was cheery and helpful. Breakfast, amazing choice of continental and cooked to order. Room comfortable. Shower pressure v.good. Instant hot water. Molton Brown products. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely choose The Wood Norton when we next visit relatives in Worcestershire.

Beautiful grounds and delightful house. Tasty and well presented food. Spacious room,slightly tired bathroom walls/ mastic but nothing to put me off. Overall a very good experience.

We had been to the Wood Norton before and had always enjoyed our stay this time was no exception exelent hotel and helpful friendly staff. It has a clean and well looked after feel to it.

Its a very unique building. Its very beautiful and very well kept. Its a shame that I never met the cat Zeus.

Our deluxe king room was at the rear of the property and was clean, quiet and private. When boiling the kettle, I had to place it on the floor as the cable was not long enough to go from the socket to the table. This was also an issue with regards the hairdryer for my wife and a mirror. Iron and board in the room were useful. On the Saturday there was a wedding reception occurring during our stay and when we required food in the bar, staff were not available and neither was the food as the chef and staff were being utilised for the main event! We had to eat in the main restaurant rather than the bar. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Overall, we would use the hotel again.
