We were not able to have breakfast at the allotted time as we had to be out at an event. However they were kind enough to leave us bacon sandwiches outside our room so we had something to eat

The sheets and towels were very clean. Mould on bathroom wall Yellow net curtains falling off rod. Wallpaper scuffed and missing. Restaurant for dinner seems to be their main focus and the food was very good the hotel side really lets them down.

Clean and comfortable room. The Nepalese restaurant on site is excellent and the breakfast was also good. Very friendly and helpful staff!

Good Indian / Nepalese food in the restaurant. Comfortable bed with clean sheets. Bathroom very tired. Black mould around bathtub and taps. Toilet not working correctly. No hot water for a bath one evening. Windows of room had not been cleaned for ages. Front door to property was locked at night. I could not unlock the door in the morning to get out to my car. Surely that is a fire risk. How do you get out in an emergency? I kept thinking of the 60s song "We Gotta Get Out of this Place" by Eric Burden and the Animals!

Just a basic Hotel but clean staff were great breakfast was just on rashercof bacon one sausage ext you can buy mor for 50p an item no cereal or toast. Night time restaurant Gurkha Nepal currys mainly

Outstanding seemingly unbeatable value for a single or double room in the area, on-site restaurant very popular and great dining option if you don't fancy going out, complimentary breakfast was a lovely addition. Stern but fair and attentive customer service, a grubby shower tray and loose/ limp towel rail but these are minor issues I can get over and expected at this price level. Thank you Woolaston Inn.

Value for money

After reading reviews that say this accommodation is excellent, we booked for two nights with friends. By the end of our stay we were bitterly disappointed. Shame, we had hoped for so much more. It looks like a family run business with different generations around the premises. Evening bar staff on duty were pleasant. We want to say that the buffet dinner was very good (it did cost £10 more, each, than we expected). However, rooms and breakfast were poor. There aren’t enough characters here to give full details but here is a summary. Toilet seat fell off toilet, 3 times. Reported and loosely replaced. Toilet flush button broken. Mold on bathroom window and tiles. Reported and wiped down. Rotten blind, ripped and was replaced Cracked sink. At breakfast we asked for more tea and pots were checked to see if empty. Poor. Breakfast is minimal, any extra charged at 50p per item. Language was often a problem when reporting issues. On checking out, reception was unmanned, we had locate a member of kitchen staff. Manager unavailable in person at checkout, he told us, on a phone, to email him. Tax added to final bill, no one available to explain what this was for. Overall, this is not a great place to stay. Restaurant might be fine but B&B needs total refit, rethink, training. After high expectations we won’t be staying again.

Very friendly and helpful staff - highly recommended! Inn/accommodation run by ex-British army (Gurkhas) who have decorated the establishment with regimental achievements.

Loved it very homely lovely food

Good ratio price vs what you get. Good cafe as well in case you want to have the dinner. The only one thing I didn't like was overcooked hashbrowns during the breakfast and I would also add more drinks to breakfast as juice.

It's okay just a little tired but great food

Really friendly staff, great food available. Hotel room was in a poor condition, lots of mould in corners, bathroom was extremely covered in mould especially the grout and shower curtain

A little gem of a B&B. Though looking tired. Staff were very kind and welcoming. Yes would definitely stay again. Ps food was delicious 5 stars. Definitely for the food.

Two nights needed. Room was fine, plenty of parking, WiFi fine in my room. Had to wait a couple of minutes for the shower water to get up to temp but it wasn't an electric one so I was perfectly happy. I ate with two others in the restaurant on the second night and the Nepalese food was very good, beautifully spiced, the best thing about it.

Property was spotlessly clean and was unique because of its ghirka authenticity. Staff were friendly, polite and efficient in all aspects of their work.I would recommend this establishment to anyone wishing to stay or just requiring something different in the way of Asian cuisine
