We really enjoyed our stay - the room had everything we expected for a B&B stay and more. There were some lovely touches that stood out such as fresh milk from the farm, and we found the breakfast room really homely. Janet was also a brilliant host who made sure we had everything we needed

Overall, this was a great stay, Positives; 1 - Great breakfast options, including a full english. 2 - A very welcoming and friendly host. 3 - Light and airy room, with good shower facility. 4 - Tea/coffee making facility in room. 5 - Nice farm with Cows and Goats on site. Handful of negatives (*2nd one i was warned about by the host, but it could do with improving for future stays); 1 - Mattress was a little on the stiff side. Could do with a memory foam topper etc. 2 - The overrun on the bathroom extractor fan has a very long delay on switching off, which can be distracting when trying to sleep*. 3 - The grandfather clock in the entrance hall chimes every hour, on the hour, which is very audible in the rooms upstairs (original thin farmhouse doors). 4 - No method of locking the door, which could allow an opportunity for other guests to enter room while absent/touring area.

Very good host, and accomodating to my needs in getting away early in the morning, allowing for an early breakfast. The room was immaculate, spacious and very comfortable.

The rooms are set within the working family farm and made for a wonderful stay. I could have watched the goats and cows all day long. The room and bathroom were immaculate, our host was most friendly and the breakfast homemade with local produce. We had a brilliant time. Both the homemade yogurt pots with homegrown berries and fry up were delightful. Thank you so much for making our stay fantastic.

Our 3 night stay at Thorpe Farm was excellent. The hostess, Janet, was very welcoming, friendly & helpful. Any issues were promptly dealt with and she certainly made our stay pleasant. The room was comfortable and well maintained and the rate was very reasonable as well The b & b is on a working farm which added another interesting aspect to our stay. Thoroughly recommended & thank you.

A proper working farmhouse very clean, tidy and an excellent host, not to mention the excellent breakfast

This a small working farm with I believe 3 rooms at for the bed and breakfast. The building was build in 1740. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we even had a private bath. The owner was absolutely amazing, she was friendly accommodating gave us many suggestions to place to se in the area. My wife said she would come back to England just to stay here. We loved this place

Janet met us when we arrived and was very helpful and friendly. The building is set in a working farm, but is well maintained and comfortable. Room was cosy, shower was great.

Lovely location, really enjoyed our stay, great hosts, amazing breakfast and we got to see some baby goats born the previous day what more can you ask for.

The accommodation was spotlessly clean, room was spacious as was the bathroom.Breakfast was fabulous, so much choice. Nothing was too much trouble for our lovely host Janet, she really looked after us. We would wholeheartedly recommend a stay at this farm and hope to return one day.

Lovely location, very welcoming and accommodating host, very clean, good sized room with spotless bathroom. Huge and delicious breakfast cooked to order. Be aware, it is a working farm, so real life goes around, but if you enjoy that as we do, it's a great place to stay.

The bed was so comfortable and the cooked breakfast was wonderful.
