One of the most lovely staff I’ve met. The room and the whole place in general is very cozy. The breakfast was fairly good. Didn’t try the lunch or the bar, but they looked equally great. I only missed a closed space in the shower, but the bathroom I got was handicapped-adapted.

We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was very clean and well-kept, with a great selection of tea bags and coffee provided. The kitchen-cooked grilled full breakfast was absolutely delicious — fresh, generous, and a perfect start to the day. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!

Excellent staff and wonderful food

Very attentive staff and the restaurant is top notch. Quite expensive drinks, but no more than any central hotel of this quality. Bed very comfortable and rooms clean. However, the mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, and the dated bathrooms/ rooms are a little sad considering the caliber of the place generally.

Our first interaction was with a wonderful member of the bar staff who checked us in. We then won £20 as part of local businesses promoting Lancaster. Location is good, food was good and the drinks were good.
