Extremely disappointing stay, I arrived at what looked like a derelict building and it didn’t get any better. The place is dirty as is the inside of the rooms. How they can charge £90 per night and be on a booking platform I honest don’t know

I'm guessing the hotel used to be a Premier Inn at some point. They've kept the Premier Inn decor which doesn't look like it's been updated for about 15 years. The room felt shabby but was clean, and the beds were comfy. The pub on site was shut so no breakfast options, but the pub 2min walk down the road is excellent.

The odour of the toilet was all over the room, it smell of damp and not freshness

Everything was fine. Especially the parking. Just the bathroom was dated and had quite a bit of black mould. A few washes with a reputable mould remover wouldn't go a miss.

Was given a room smelt off cigarettes 2nd room given went in room and smelt in there also bed was not very comfy and the fan in the bathroom was to noisy I left what a waste of 60 pounds never again

Stain on bed sheet pee and tissue in the toilet Room was also freezing cold and took hours to heat up. Curtains didn't meet in the middle. Water for shower wasn't hot at all Won't be staying there again.

Had booked a Family Studio room. A few days before I was contacted to let us know that unfortunately this would be unavailable aswell as several other rooms therefore we could have 2 rooms instead next to each other. I had also requested a cot again at this time as no response from a message I had previously sent. When we arrived I was informed that there was no cots available due to someone else extending there stay. The staff member then said he would speak to his boss and hopefully go and buy a new one. He then came to tell us that he was able to go and get one but did we need it right away as he wanted to go to the gym. As it was already nearly 1830 I politely said we need it now. He came back with a cot within 30mins. Rooms were ok but we had found an old tube of l*be under a bed. Not much privacy from the "outside" door that could be locked but can see through into the rooms when the doors were open to allow use of both rooms. There was also a light in the "hallway" area which was sensored but kept turning on and off regularly even when not near it. Very little amenities in the room, would be nice to have a couple of biscuits with a cup of tea. Beds were comfy being that they were actually "Premier Inn" beds. Overall, apart from a comfy sleep not the best experience and I don't think we would be staying again if in Derby.

THE ROOM WAS OK CLEAN AND TIDY WITH GOOD PARKING. THE PERSON I SPOKE TO AT RECEPTION WAS PERSONABLE AND HELPFUL. THE ROOM WAS LOOKING A BIT TIRED BUT OTHER THEN THAT WE BOTH HAD A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP. THE DOOR INTO THE ROOM WAS DIFFICULT TO OPEN AND WAS NOISY TO CLOSE AND THE ROOM NEXT TO US HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. OTHER THEN THAT IT WAS WELL PRICED FOR ONE NIGHT HENCE THE THREE STARS. Bernard

Room smells damp the floor in bathroom wet and carpet into bathroom wet. Mold in the bathroom shower freezing cold.

We stayed in a family room that was non smoking but it smelt of smoke as soon as we entered the room, the central heating didn’t work and were left with a small electric plug in heater. Despite this, we stayed the night as it was too late to find somewhere else. When we checked out and travelled 4 hours back home we realised we had left our sons baby blanket in the room so we called the receptionist who was very unhelpful and didn’t seem very concerned or bothered as he did not even ask what the blanket looked like. He claimed he went to look in the room and could not see it but he would talk to housekeeping in the morning as they had already left. We got no call back and so I had to chase next morning to which I was told that house keeping had thrown the blanket in the trash as they thought it was dirty. It was clearly a baby blanket and very sentimental to my son so why would you not keep it in lost property? I asked them to look for it in the bin and the receptionist said there was too much trash to see it, I am absolutely disgusted with the lack of respect or policy for lost and found items, throwing it away without holding onto it for at least a day or something? Now I will have to tell my son his baby blanket has been thrown away which he will be extremely upset about, this is horrendous customer service never stay here!

Stayed here a few times working away, always cold, given electric radiators but this time they was a condom floating in the toilet. Knew the rooms didn’t get cleaned properly as bottles and fries still under the bed but a confom floating in the toilet is disgusting. Never again

Hi the rooms are no good we got give a room number 15 was very dirty and smelly so we got an other room 12 which we got fuller with water from the shower. Please can you contact me on07846964395 I would like a refund because we didn’t end up staying here

The room was cold

when entered the room there was a strange smell which turned out to be coming from one of the staff members sat on the bed whilst playing a game on the TV. The door was unlocked upon entering , now known to be the staff member in there playing a game. Also no shower curtain on the shower which meant not able to take a shower without water coming out. Will not go there ever again. It seems to be an old premier inn premises which has been left to deteriated badly.

On entering the room it was cold (14*) damp and musky. Set the heating to 21 but kept turning off every few hours resetting to its lowest setting 14. Woke at 3 in the morning as the room had dropped to 17 back to cold and damp. Makes the bed damp and musky. Bodged repairs look tatty. Bathroom was freezing. It truly is an old run down premier inn that’s been sold off. NEVER AGAIN.
