AVOID Completely unacceptable stay, serious safety issues and no hot water. READ REVIEW.Our experience with QF Living was appalling and completely unacceptable for paid holiday accommodation. From the moment we arrived, there were problems. The floors were sticky and needed cleaning, there were spiders and cobwebs around the property, a bathroom tap was loose, outside lighting was not working, a bedroom fan did not work and, by the morning we left, kitchen cabinet handles/knobs were also coming off. Most concerning was an incident in the conservatory where a light exploded, glass came down and narrowly missed a member of our family, and the fitting was smoking. We stopped using the lighting because of the obvious safety concern. We then lost all hot water and it was still not restored by the time we left. One member of our family is disabled and access to basic hot water is essential for their personal care. We were reduced to boiling kettles, filling pots and pans and mixing boiling water with cold water just so they could wash. No family paying for holiday accommodation should be put in that position. We repeatedly contacted QF Living by telephone and WhatsApp. Expedia also tried numerous times to contact the property on our behalf, which is confirmed in screenshots of our conversation with Expedia. At one stage QF Living sent us a video explaining how to top up the boiler pressure except the boiler in the video was not even the same boiler installed at the property.

Stunning house in a lovely area! The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable each with a bathroom. Living spaces were a good size and nicely furnished. The communication before from Stef and Nikki was exceptional and we were provided with lots of info to make our stay more enjoyable. Hot tub overlooking the river was a nice touch. Wasn't able to use on day of arrival as it'd just been cleaned therefore wasnt up to temperature however everyone enjoyed it on the 2nd day. Thanks to the owners, we had a great time!

We spent 2 nights here with some friends, it was absolutely beautiful. In a lovely quiet village. The garden overlooked the river. All rooms were a good size and we're very comfortable. The weather was in a favour for the duration so was able to spent a lot of time in the garden and the hot tub. The kitchen provided everything you needed, including tea and coffee. The only things we found difficult was the heating and hot water, even when 'boosting' the water the hot water only seemed to work for in 1 bathroom. And was unable to turn the heating one. The hot tub also took a very long time to warm up, as check in as at 4 it still was not warm enough to use that night at all. But overall would definitly stay here again, very good price and all had a fantastic time.
