The bathroom was starting to flood from the shower so i took out the plug to be greeted by a plug hole full of hair .which i cleaned out . please see attached picture. The breakfast was bacon that looked raw, Mushrooms that had been boiled to with an inch disintegration. When i complained didn't even get offered a refund Just i will let my manager know

The room was very clean and the hotel was very nice as well. However the room upstairs was very loud, from the time we walked into the hotel room to the next day on check out, it continued to bang, shouting, it was just like someone coming through the ceiling.

Beds are comfy and a lovely big tv, staff on check in were nice. Rooms could do with a spruce up now; broken toilet seat, bit of black mould/mildew in shower, some toiletries were empty and the table lamps which used to match are a now mismatch and a bit on the rickety side. Other than that it was a pleasant enough stay as it always is, just could be better with a few tweaks and an aggressive maintenance regime in my opinion.

Room was neglected. Not cleaned well after raising complaint to receptionist and cleaners. Hairs, makeup stains, dust and bed was left undone during “cleans”. Complained to the manager and a 50% refund on my stay was agreed,

The constant noise from the pipe work just outside your room is just to much I have stayed in a twin, double and club room this that this would get me a better position in the hotel well it did not the noise it to much. One towel in a twin room no phone to call down so you would have to walk and get another one, the cleaner is obvisiolousy short as I can see her swip marks from cleaning the shower, tiny hairs in sink, Nice bar area and pool.

Paid for breakfast but I was not told it stopped being served at 9am Monday to Friday, requested a refund but told it was not possible due to my booking.
A little disappointing as 9am is early if your not in a hurry to leave, 10am would be much better.

I’ve stayed a lot of times here, a few weeks or months between, it’s always a pleasant stay but as always the bar service needs to speed up and the condition of fixtures & fittings are tiring and need sprucing up.
The food on this occasion was poor, I had gammon and eggs, all over cooked and the quality wasn’t what it was for the price they charge! The place has gone from actively look to book here to may or may not stay here again, which is a shame.

My plan was to arrive early and use the gym and pool facilities before I checked in. I called on the morning of my arrival to check the fee for this, but was informed that these facilities are not available until after check in. I have never come across this before and it forced me to change my plans. Then when I arrived and went to my room I found a huge hair plastered to the shower screen, so the standards of cleanliness leave a lot to be desired. I have photographic evidence of this! On the positive side the reception staff were friendly, helpful and professional.
