ワーウィック ホール

とにかくすばらしいの一言。建物の外観や内装、庭はもちろん、典型的なイングランドの川（エデン川）、橋、教会の尖塔のおりなす感動的な風景を堪能できます。このような風景を眺めながら味わう朝食も質量ともに言うことなし。自家製の蜂蜜やママレードなども出して頂けます。長年イギリス中を旅していますが、これほどのホテルにはあまり出会ったことがありません。できれば自分だけの隠れ家にしておきたかったところですが、Valさん（ご主人）は「是非日本の方にももっといらして頂きたい！」とのことだったので投稿しました。 カーライル中心街から7kmと少し離れますが、バスが走っています。車（レンタカー等）をお持ちであればベストです。SainsburyやTescoなど主なスーパーへも簡単に車で買い出しに行けます。また、Lake Districtへの拠点としても好適地です。それから、Valさんにお願いしたところ部屋に冷蔵庫まで入れて頂けました。これはすごく助かりました！

It was fantastic, excelent stay!!

The rooms were all very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and obliging. The food was excellent. It’s quite a quirky place but we liked that.Our only issue was our room was cold but heating a large old house is hard. We would stay again

Room heating wasn’t on when arrived, it was freezing, they done well and got it going, it never really got warm, had dinner which was lovely, after dinner we went back to our room which was barely warm, eventually the heating cut out, although it wasn’t doing a lot, it was -3 outside and felt colder inside, I went to reception but all locked up at 11-45pm, I tried again at 2am we considered getting in the car it was that cold, 3 days later my wife has a chest infection and myself a bad cold, We refused to pay for the room, which we were told you already have so take it up with Hotel.com, when they realised I’d chose pay on departing the lady owner was not happy, A lovely building and scenery but our room was very dated although clean, It was a suite so expected something special, if you choose the Birdie suite check your heating, everybody we spoke to said there rooms were really warm. Who knows could be bad luck but not paying to get a chest infection and really should take it further.

Beautiful property and rooms. Excellent service. Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay at a boutique hotel close to Carlisle. The owner was friendly and gave us wonderful advice of things to do in the area. We will definitely return for another visit in the near future. 5+ STARS.

Beautiful place to stay

This is an amazing hotel. The rooms are magnificent, and the setting is beautiful. We had dinner in the hotel which was very good. We would definitely stay again.

Staff were very nice

This is our second stay here as we loved it so much the first time. Warm welcome, beautiful grounds, gorgeous rooms in a traditional country mansion. There is a walk along the salmon river to the fishing hut before you return to the sitting room with a real fire and a G&T at the honesty bar. We loved exploring the wildness of the walled garden with bee hives (you can buy the honey back in the house) and free range chickens and raspberry bushes laden with big, fat fruit! Our dinner was terrific, limited choice but tasty and beautifully cooked, with probably the best steak pie we’ve ever had! Warwick Hall isn’t shabby chic and curated like numerous hotel chains, but a genuinely luxurious, welcoming B&B with five star service.

Loved this property and the staff. Dinner was fantastic and the rooms are absolutely adorable with great renovations while still keeping the charm. The property has a large walled garden and a leisurely walk by the river perfect for after dinner.

Amazing location and tradition, right on the River Eden. So pastoral and serene.

Wonderful dog friendly hotel in sumptuous surrounds with river side walk on doorstep. Garden looking beautiful with Victorian walled kitchen garden . Bed comfort and linen divine, excellent breakfast.

A true country estate turned into a wonderful hotel on 200 acres with a river winding around just 50!yards from the back door. Stunning views!

Such a beautiful spot with amazing views and welcoming hospitality. We will be back!

Keep in mind the entire town closes on Sunday. The setting of this hotel is beautiful.

What a lovely and relaxed place to stay. Fab location, nice room, helpful staff and great food. Shame to have to leave really.
