Really nice place to stay very nice staff a great location overlooking the river, excellent breakfast with lots of choice and very nice staff, I would definitely recommend staying here.

Staff were absolutely lovely!

Excellent location with the River Severn outside my window. Very pleasant walks in the evening. Comfortable and well appointed room with very good shower. Staff were so helpful. I'd paid for b&b but had to leave before breakfast was served, so they made me a simple but nutritious packed lunch. Dinner was good - especially the lamb chops with so many tasty little accompaniments. Would be very happy to stay again.

Amazing stay here this weekend. Greeted and taken to room with a round of cheeky banter. We ate on the evening and breakfast is included in price. There is a booklet in the room which tells you everything you need to know. Including alternative restaurants to eat at.

The staff was so kind to us. They took our bags to our room on the second floor. The breakfast was delicious!

We stayed for a night - beautiful room, comfortable bed and relaxing stay! Beautiful breakfast in the morning too, friendly staff and perfect location! The only thing for me was the stain on the bathroom floor. Thanks for a lovely stay

Place was superb from start to finish. Top drawer culture exists amongst the team, who can’t do enough for you and the best cooked breakfast I’ve had in years.

Nicely situated by the river but no parking, we had a good meal there on the evening and the atmosphere in general was nice. We stayed in room 6 but it was so noisy from a generator of some sorts which spoiled our stay.

The room was excellent. Lovely view and peaceful during the night (once closing time came but people chatter wasn't an issue beforehand). The bathroom was big and spacious and nice to have a separate bath and shower. Bed was really comfy. Only issue for us was breakfast was disappointing. On arrival we were told breakfast was between 9 and 10. We are early risers and do prefer an earlier breakfast but thats personal choice. However, on being seated we noticed others had already eaten and found out they'd been allowed an earlier breakfast which we would've loved but wasn't offered. Our order was taken, however it took 40 minutes to arrive. As time was tight due to car parking issues i had to leave to put additional parking on before returning to breakfast. Other guests expressed concern over the time their breakfasts were arriving due to the same parking payment issue. The food was plentyful, however the poached egg was proper hard and dry, the black pudding tasteless and the poached tomato was whole but hard. Overall a lovely stay but let down at breakfast. On checkout i wasn't asked how the stay was otherwise i'd have said then instead of now in this review.

Good location and typical pub with rooms. Details said parking available at surcharge in fact it is available but not on site it’s the local car parks so better clarity on that. Staff all great and helpful and good food

I booked this charming old authentic hotel-pub with a few rooms for my husband’s birthday and had mentioned in advance that a small gesture like maybe a card to mark the occasion would be appreciated. I was told something might be arranged, but in the end, nothing was done — a small disappointment, though not enough to spoil the stay. Our room was very clean and recently renovated, with a spacious bathroom. However, although I’d booked a yard-facing room to avoid noise, it still turned out to be quite loud. The hotel faces both the River Severn and a busy road, and at 2 a.m. we could even hear cars racing — not exactly relaxing! If you’re sensitive to noise, this may not be the ideal choice. The listing mentions parking, but in reality there is none. The full English breakfast was generous in portion, but fairly standard. There were no hot alternatives, just a selection of cereals with milk and yogurt. Overall, service was good, and with just a few tweaks this could have been an even more special experience.

Really friendly staff, mattress wasnt the best a spring kept ‘boinging!’ And bathroom was cleanish but very very tired looking.

Nice & convenient. Shows potential but could be much nicer if attention to detail. Loose creaky headboard. Good breakfast.

Great stay in Ironbridge - easy parking across the river - Good food. Old building so not soundproof rooms, but a great stay in a top location by the river

I highly recommend The White Hart. I arrived early but they let me check in immediately as the room was ready. Lovely view across to the river. Delish breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for ANY of the staff in all the different areas of the hotel. Loved my short stay. Thank you.
