Staff amazing can’t do enough for you and the hotel is amazing

Our stay was amazing from start to finish! The room was very clean, warm and had everything you would need. Staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The food was delicious and well presented, overall definitely would recommend and can’t wait to stop again :)

Amazing rooms, Friendly staff

2 days well spent at this lovely homely property! Located in a great place with easy parking. Richard is a right bloke, would loved to have stayed up talking to him at the bar but after walking the local fells went to relax in the brilliant room. The hosts put their heart & soul into making everything perfect. We would certainly return.

Lovely clean suite,

Nice pleasant room. Quiet. Slight disappointment would be the creaky floorboards and the low ceilings just as you exit out of bathroom within the attic suite. Rest of stay was faultless. Would come again.

Service was amazing, the rooms are stunning and welcoming

Booked as a short stay for our wedding anniversary. I've seen this property many times as we've walked between Windermere and Bowness and been intrigued by the waterball outside. Didn't actually realise it was this hotel when I booked. We stayed in a lovely suite with an outside hot tub, a steam room,small sitting area and jacuzzi bath, as well as separate shower room. When we arrived the room wasn't quite ready, which we expected, as we were a little early. We left our car parked at the property and walked into Bowness for the afternoon. It's about a 10 minute walk. When we returned , we were thrilled with our room and the lovely touch of an anniversary card. We'd asked for restaurant recommendations for our anniversary meal. The breakfast was hearty. There's no buffet but a menu, which provides plenty of choice. We had cereal with fruit compote,full English with mixed toast , juice, and coffee but there's all sorts to choose from so I'm sure almost anyone could find something to suit. The staff were lovely, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I'm not one for overly fussy staff but that's just me. The hotel is an easy walk either way into Bowness or to Windermere Village and is right opposite a bus stop we've used before to travel further. Theres not really anything negative I could say about the place tbh. If I was being picky I'd say the water pressure in the shower wasn't great but that's about it. What a lovely little break we’ve had as this hotel. Great location/ lovely staff / perfect room. Spacious and so clean and tidy, felt very luxurious and such a comfortable bed! Lots of lovely refreshments provided. Clean towels if required daily Room service if required Overall 10/10 we will return!

Not much to fault, the decor is boutique, so it can feel a bit dated, but I guess that’s in the name. Only negative id give is the bathroom sink the water takes a long while to warm up (sugar suite) and the hot tub tv did not actually work , all other things I could mention would be pretty trivial, so otherwise was a good stay overall.

Fabulous suite, fabulous customer service. We even got shown around the other suites when we booked out so we could see what other suites are available. We will most definitely be back. We’ve stayed in other high end boutiques in the area, but this is by far the best.

Friendly staff, ten mins walk to town, room was great - hot tub outside with roof over it. Breakfast delicious. Can’t fault anything.

First time visiting windermere and booked this hotel for me and the Mr and it did not disappoint! Was absolutely beautiful! The rooms were modern and well decorated and the hot tub in with steam room was just perfect! We enjoyed the breakfast and loved the fact the hotel was not far from the lake. We would definitely stay here again

We booked this for our 14th Wedding Anniversary night away. Usually we have stayed on Bowness side but we thought we would try Windermere side for a change. We were certainly not disappointed! The suite was like an apartment suite - lovely & roomy. The suite facilities were amazing - for a relaxing night away especially when it was cold & raining outside, we didn’t need anything else - open fire, dining area, sauna, spa bath - all very relaxing and therapeutic- a calming atmosphere to break from the daily grind of life! The staff were fantastic, friendly and very welcoming. I got the feeling that whatever we may have asked for would not have been too much trouble. The breakfast was ordered to suit and table service which gave that bonus edge to normal hotels with help yourself. Without a doubt we had a great stay and we will definitely be back. Thank you to you all for the hospitality and welcoming atmosphere 🙏

This is a beautiful boutique hotel On this visit after a few years it was a bit disappointing to see not set breakfast as it used to be before Covid
