ホテルから湖、山並などが見られます。車があればすぐそばの駐車場に停めて湖畔散策も可能です。町へ買い物も近くで済ませられます。

チェックイン前に荷物を預かって欲しかったが、駅に戻って預けて来いと言われた。旅行者の利便性は頭に無い。粘ったところ、ロビーに置いて良いと言われたが何があっても知らないと。。親切心の無いホテル。

Windmereの駅からバスで５分の処。静かでいい場所。湖はやっと見える程度。 敷地が広くゆっくりできる。周辺には何もない。レストラン、ショッピングは駅周辺に 行くひつようがある。部屋は清潔で広くて快適。

このホテルは車道から少し上がった所にあります。ホテルの表示が目立たず、また一方向にしかないため、地元の人でも入り口を間違えました。16人乗り以上の中大型のバスは玄関までは入れず、下の展望台の駐車場に止める必要があるため、大きいスーツケースの移動は不可能です。今回は荷物輸送のためにタクシーを利用せざるを得ませんでした。ホテルにポーターサービスを予め希望しましたが、そのようなサービスはないとのことでNo. 出発時朝食の時間を少し早めてもらうように依頼しましたがこれもNo. フロント、従業員とも笑顔無く、 サービス精神ゼロ回答ホテルと名付けました。

Interesting place, a little long in the tooth. Main desk was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was not ready at 7AM. Rooms could use toilet paper holders and washcloths. Room service did not replace my coffee cups or water and did not make my bed or replace used towels. They did empty the trash. I was at the end of a second floor hall and it took FOREVER for the water to warm up enough for a comfortable, but not hot, shower. Bathrooms could use an active fan to cut down on the humidity and the damp. 1st floor chairs and sofas were not very comfortable.

Liked the service and interaction with all staff very helpful. Liked the room the size, quality, and the facilities provided. Did not like the distance from the main hotel to the room which was in the annex heavy rain made the the walk unpleasant. I wrongly thought the annex was adjacent to the hotel. Liked the quality of the breakfast cooked or cold top class, the menu for dinner was very ordinary and and was not very inspiring and left a feeling of could do better.e.g sirloin steaks were cooked as requested but were tough and poor flavour. Liked the swimming pool and facilities top class very clean and a high spot of the holiday.

Excellent apart from one or two minors probably just overlooked no body wash or shower gel in bathroom and mugs didn’t fit in coffee machine. Advised reception who will advise housekeeping room 31

We had a 2 night stay here. Our first time staying at this hotel. We are looking to visit again. Dog friendly. Which is essential for us. Allowed everywhere but swimming pool (understandable) and 1 lounge room. There was a good size run free area for dogs. Which we used. We found the hotel to be nice. Nice comfy areas to sit and chill. A light airy conservatory to eat food in. Bar area with tables to eat at. Food was good. Service was good and polite. Room was clean and tidy. Beds comfortable. There was always parking space. A nice outdoor seating area. We used the pool a couple of times. Towels available and shower area with shampoo and body wash. A basic pool that starts at 1m deep and goes to 1.5m deep. Overall it was a nice place to stay.

Was expecting more for the price I paid.

As I booked on Hotels.com I didn't realise that this hotel is ULTA pet friendly. We stayed in their annex a spacious superior room with a lovely outdoor patio area. When we went in the room there was a strong odour of shake & vac and on the patio there was a full doggy bag left on the edge of the area, plus a full ashtray ! As the strong smell from the shake & vac wore off there was a stinky dog smell in the room. Behind the annex there's a dog walk which was full of poo left everywhere. That night I had an asthma attack and the next morning asked the receptionist if we could move to another room, she was very unhelpful and accusative, she said she would speak to the manager. I know I should have done more research before I booked, but they could have been more understanding. I gave them a few hours and called in the afternoon, the new receptionist didn't know anything about my request but offered to check, no more news from them until we returned later and another receptionist who didn't know anything ! I couldn't stay another night so we decided to leave and go home early. Very unsatisfactory. Unless you are dog people looking for a doggy resort do not book this hotel.

The hotel is old & a bit tired in places, but comfortable. Beds are comfy. Our room on the first floor was well ventilated, but the attic rooms are less so. A car is required unless you’re a good walker as it’s 1.5 miles from Bowness.

The property and grounds were inspired with an amazing view of the Lakes! We enjoyed it very much.

Breakfast options were very limited. Hardly any fruit. Coffee machine was not working on one of the mornings and not one member of staff offered an alternative drink? Very poor.

Lovely stay. Staff all very welcoming. Food lovely with extensive buffet breakfast and dinner was also very nice. Rooms spacious but could have maybe done with some updating. Nice balcony which we couldnt use unfortunately due to the weather.Lovely views of lake windemere from the grounds. We enjoyed the pool and were lucky enough to have it to ourselves every day. Location good but did mean we had to drive. Didnt struggle to get parked at the hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay here, staff very friendly and helpful, we stayed in an annex and its was lovely and clean, it would have been nice to have a small fridge to keep snacks and water cold but other then that our needs were fulfilled, and the views were breathtaking

I have stayed at Windermere Manor a few times before, but this time my room was substandard. The cleanliness of the room was questionable, with mould very visible on several windows and rust and stains on the carpet next to the radiator (I have taken photos). Also, no full length mirror in the room, just a small wall mounted mirror in the bathroom. The staff however were lovely. But, I will genuinely think twice before staying here again.
