ホテルから湖、山並などが見られます。車があればすぐそばの駐車場に停めて湖畔散策も可能です。町へ買い物も近くで済ませられます。

チェックイン前に荷物を預かって欲しかったが、駅に戻って預けて来いと言われた。旅行者の利便性は頭に無い。粘ったところ、ロビーに置いて良いと言われたが何があっても知らないと。。親切心の無いホテル。

Windmereの駅からバスで５分の処。静かでいい場所。湖はやっと見える程度。 敷地が広くゆっくりできる。周辺には何もない。レストラン、ショッピングは駅周辺に 行くひつようがある。部屋は清潔で広くて快適。

このホテルは車道から少し上がった所にあります。ホテルの表示が目立たず、また一方向にしかないため、地元の人でも入り口を間違えました。16人乗り以上の中大型のバスは玄関までは入れず、下の展望台の駐車場に止める必要があるため、大きいスーツケースの移動は不可能です。今回は荷物輸送のためにタクシーを利用せざるを得ませんでした。ホテルにポーターサービスを予め希望しましたが、そのようなサービスはないとのことでNo. 出発時朝食の時間を少し早めてもらうように依頼しましたがこれもNo. フロント、従業員とも笑顔無く、 サービス精神ゼロ回答ホテルと名付けました。

Great dog friendly hotel with views of Windermere

Lovely location with great views over lakes the room was comfortable and roomy and there was a good outdoor enclosed dog area. The receptionist and restaurant staff were lovely and helpful. The only problems were 1. that the room we got was not the one we thought we’d booked. The photos on Expedia definitely showed a balcony on the ground floor which with elderly parents and a dog was why we chose it. (I I suspect this is more an issue with how Expeda show their accommodation ) and 2. Despite being the hottest days of the year in an official heat warning the pool closed early both days and so we were unable to use it. The manager tried to blame health and safety as she was the only one allowed to open the pool but surely you get trained staff in. The hotel ( and indeed the whole of the Lakes) were full and the hotel l boasts one of the best pools. It took some convincing to receive a suitable refund and shows that whilst the staff can be very accommodating it only takes a seemingly uncaring manager to undo that

Lovely clean room, staff very friendly and helpful. Pet friendly, with own dog walking area. Lovely breakfast. A lovely stay in a lovely place.

Everything was perfect, the staff were excellent and we were so happy to have chosen this place. The only negative feedback is that the Pizzas were not very nice however all the other food was absolutely amazing so please don't take this feedback the wrong way. The Manager Pauline I think her name was is a lovely person and made us feel welcome from start to finish. Thank you. 9.9/10

Personnel agréable. Établissement adapté aux personnes déficientes visuelle (écriture en braille, chien accepté). Repas du soir pris sur place, très bien. Petit déjeuner sour forme de buffet très complet, viennoiseries excellentes. Chambre : rien à dire, salle de bain : il y avait quelques cheveux aux sols. Piscine très agréable après une grosse journée de marche.

First time taking our dog to a hotel. He was made very comfortable. Breakfast was great too. Would definately visit again. Great location.

Great breakfast, clean room, dog friendly and ideal location. If you like to walk only approx 25min into bowness or short drive if you prefer. Couldn't book an evening meal at check in as already booked up so may need to pre book before arrival. Overall very happy with our stay and would go back again.

Staff welcoming. The room was warm and comfortable, plenty of tea and coffee supplies. A choice of herbal tea and decaf coffee would have been appreciated. The building suits the landscape, the decor throughout the house felt a bit tired. Cooked breakfast provided which was fine. It would have been nice to have a fresh fruit option for the cereal and wholemeal bread for toast. Lots of parking available and it was well lit. Felt 3 star.

Very good breakfast

Plenty of parking spaces right outside the entrance. Staff are so friendly. Lake view from the well maintained gardens. Powerful hot shower. Lovely good priced food. Could do with a bit more drawer space in the family room, and a plug socket near the kettle. Would definitely recommend. Lovely warm swimming pool as well. Plenty of towels to use.

Excellent all round

We have just got back from a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The location, staff and facilities are fantastic, it is a lovely building. We've stayed in many hotels but this one really delivered on all fronts. We really appreciated the views from our bedroom which were absolutely awesome (from our room we could see Windermere and the surrounding scenery) we felt so lucky. The pool was lovely, clean and well serviced, with complimentary towels. The hotel gardens were beautiful. The restaurant and bar was a delightful experience, we enjoyed both evening meals and our breakfast, plenty of choice in terms of food and diet to suit most tastes. We will certainly be booking again and can't wait to return. Thank you so much to management and staff who went out of their way to make our stay memorable.

Polite staff, beautiful room and building, excellent parking and location, good simple breakfast, room a little dusty on various objects but the overall location and room spec made up for everything else.
