We loved Afro Addis so much the first time we stayed there that it was the first place we booked on our second trip to Ethiopia. It is nestled in a wonderful neighborhood that is away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. It has one of the friendliest and most helpful staff, they go above and beyond to help make the stay comfortable. I can’t say enough good things, the staff are amazing, the food is excellent, and the view from the balcony overlooking the neighborhood is one of our favorites. We will definitely go back for a third trip!

The staff at AfroAdiss was very kind and helpful throughout my long stay. The owner was kind enough to move me when there was a problem with my first room and even upgraded me. The rooms are clean and modern. The hotel is in a very residential area, which has its perks, but it is quite far from the city center - most nightlife and restaurants. If you're looking for a low-key place to stay with few tourists, this is for you.

Great little new place not far from the Airport. Staff was super helpful and could accommodate all my needs. ATM not to far away, amazing rooftop and clean rooms.

The hotel is in the midst of a residential area far away from the center. The reception desk as well as the manager are very nice and pleasant people. The rooms are clean. The restaurant is only open until 8 pm; otherwise the food I ate is good (National Ethiopian dish-Shiro). The room rate is very reasonable for the service provided.

Afroaddis has the best staff, starting from hotel manager. They try hard to accommodate your needs and help you with everything such as taxis, sights to see etc. The hotel is clean for the most part, housekeeping needs to step it up a notch in the rooms. There is a small restaurant with a small menu, if you are hungry, you will find food. The location is a bit far from city center, in a residential area. You will probably pay 400 to 500 Birrh, about 18 USD (round trip) for taxi to take you to city.
