It’s a nice resort. But I think it’s best suited for family with children and married couples or if you want to impress your date. All the staffs were nice and helpful. The best thing thing was to see the lake and enjoyed it from my window especially when I wake up in the early morning. But I had one big issue that am trying to solve still they charged me again which was inconvenient even though I told them my reservation was already paid online obviously on your website. But they didn’t charge me twice when I booked via Booking. So not sure where the miscommunication came from.

Our experience at Haile Hotel & Resort was absolutely fantastic. The staff provided top-tier service, always attentive and welcoming. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and offered beautiful views. Dining was delightful, with delicious meals and impeccable presentation. I highly recommend this resort for a relaxing and unforgettable stay.

I stayed in Hawassa for 2 weeks during my vacation back home from the states. I have had to extend my stay in the city a couple times and it was mainly because of this resort. I have never seen such great customer service and such well trained and loving set of staff. This is not just a job for them, they pay attention and show love to their guests like I have never seen before. And this was not limited to front desk or anything. Everyone from the door men, front desk, to servers, house keeping, spa workers, and everyone else I might have forgotten, EVERYONE was great! I have felt so at home while staying at the resort that I was coming even on days I was not staying there. I can keep going on about how amazing and attentive the staff was but it would take too long haha. I just wished the menu had just a bit more variety mainly because I would want to stay for several days whenever I go and it would be nice to be able to diversify my food group options. But whatever was on the menu was great. The only thing I thought could have been better during my stay was the pool. I think it would be upkeeping with the quality of the resort if the pool had a warmer. During our stay it was supposed to be sunny but since the resort is by the water and gets cold at night, we have to wait half a day for the pool water to go back to normal. Because the pool is one of the main activities it would be great to have a pool warmer. Other than that everything was great and I recommend this place

Overall my stay at Haile Resort was great! We did run into some minor issues like our tv in the room not working great. The room and it’s things like cleanliness, and comfort was great. Something else that bothered me was the fact that we paid extra to have an ocean view room but the room we got had its ocean view blocked by a tree upfront. It was not a big deal to me as I enjoyed being out anyway but I think that should be considered a bit more since you have to pay extra for the view. Other than that the staff around was amazing and resort itself was a great place to be at so you can relax.

Staff was wonderful and accommodating. Some of us were under the weather and so supported us. Really appreciate them. The place is great. Swam on the pool. Had wine by the lake. Saw a hippo in the lake! Food tasty and comfortable room. Highly recommend.

Fantastic property never ceases to amaze us, well maintained gardens, the clean lake, the birds and the happy hippos with an exceptional service from reception, housekeeping, security and food service, Breakfast buffet is always the highlight of stays at Haile Resorts! Will come gain and again and again!

Great setting by the lake. Staff extremely friendly. Rooms quite comfortable.

Very good stay in the hotel. The staff is very helpful, the place is superb, the food is good and the games for children are great. The cardio machines in the gym are very old and the decoration of the restaurant is a bit old-fashionned. In conclusion, we had a good time with family in a magical setting.

My experience at Haile resort was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of luxurious accommodations, outstanding service, and prime location made for a memorable stay. A special mention goes to Ephrem, the shuttle driver, who was exceptionally courteous and helpful, making my transfers to and from the airport seamless and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Awassa and look forward to returning on my next trip.
