Amazing amenities and rooms in a lovely location, great spa/massages. One of the best restaurants on the Yasawa islands.
The only thing I would criticize is the lack of a clean water tank to refill reusable bottles. I don't want to buy plastic bottles on a small island and add to the pollution of the world.

Three of us stayed at Navutu Stars for three nights. The room was beautiful—very spacious, private, and right on its own beach, which we loved.
That said, the resort is extremely small, with one central area for all meals, and the menu did not change during our stay. Getting there requires a four-hour ferry ride from Port Denarau with only one arrival and departure per day, so flights must be planned carefully. The ride can be rough if you’re prone to motion sickness.
Fiji overall is quite expensive, and water is not complimentary with meals, which adds up quickly. The resort is very natural, so there are many insects, which may be uncomfortable for some guests.
Our main takeaway is that this is a very quiet, slow-paced resort. With only about 15 guests and 1–2 short activities per day, most of the time is spent relaxing. The pool is small and not very inviting. If you’re looking for an active resort experience, this may not be the right fit, but it could suit travelers seeking total relaxation and privacy.

Disappointing Stay at Navutu Stars Resort
I arrived with high expectations, but unfortunately the resort did not meet them.
The beach area was rocky, surrounded by mangroves that made it feel swampy and attracted mosquitoes. The reef in front of the resort was completely dead — there was no snorkeling to see whatsoever.
The mandatory meal plan was costly, yet the food lacked both quality and variety. For the price, it felt like poor value.
My bungalow was semi-nice, but it lacked basic amenities expected at a 5-star resort — no air conditioning, no coffee kettle, and no bathroom door for privacy.
Amenities were extremely limited. Aside from the room and dining area, there was very little offered to enhance the stay.
Overall, Navutu Stars fell far short of expectations and did not deliver the quality promised.

It’s a small resort, but it was still impressive that everyone on the staff knew my name within the first few hours…service was impeccable, while keeping a conversation up with all the guests…the bar area was very social…and the massage therapist had a good touch!

This is the most beautiful place with the most beautiful people. We were the only guests on the island at one point and they couldn’t do enough for us. The food is fresh and delicious. If we return to Fiji we would choose to stay here with them. We had a massage that was wonderful as well. Serenity, love and peace you will find here to rejuvenate your soul.
Bures are right on the beach and very clean and beautiful. We loved every person on the island and they showed us love as well.

This resort is one of the best we have ever stayed at. This is very much due to the staff. They were all amazing and accommodating. It’s a tiny resort with only ten rooms, but all of them have amazing views. The food is great and since it is so small you truly get to meet all the guests. We met some awesome people from Australia, so shout out to Nina, Milton, Emily, James, Steve and Kelly! The only thing that was strange for me was the saloon door on the bathroom. No privacy but we have been married a long time. I would definitely come back again❤️

The rest of my vacation has been destroyed!! I chose Navutu Stars as my first Island hop experience in the Yasawas. I wish it had been my last. This was also a surprise trip for my daughter’s sweet sixteen. They exceeded my expectations and made a lasting impression on her special day.
The most peaceful setting, the most attentive and accommodating staff, clean and inviting rooms.
Everyone knows your name and you’ll want to remember theirs. Definitely coming back!! Refusing to share more. This is our island paradise. You’ll have to see for yourself.

I enjoyed the beauty of the property and the surrounding. I wished it was easier to go in the water to swim but with the low tides for the majority of the day it wasn’t possible. I had a bit of difficult time on the resort because I’m terrified of dogs and there are 5 of them and they do come up and jump on you. I understand almost everyone loves dogs, I get it but I’m scared and it controlled how I spent my time on the resort. For instance I missed the sunrise one morning because I was scared to go alone, knowing if the dogs see me they will come up to me.
