The room was clean but quite hot, although it had an air conditioning unit on the floor it didn’t cool the room very well The staff were helpful and it was located close to the old town If you are looking for something cheap and cheerful then it’s ok for a short stay

Attention: I booked a room for three people with air conditioning. The Expedia page clearly showed “Klimaanlage” in the room description, and the photos also indicated air conditioning. At check-in, however, the reception staff first told me that there were no rooms with air conditioning. When I showed them the Expedia page, they claimed that “Klimaanlage” meant “cleaning service,” which is not correct. I live in Germany and speak German, so this explanation made no sense to me. After I refused to accept a room without the amenity I had booked and paid for, I was suddenly given a room with air conditioning. The explanation then changed: apparently there were only a few rooms with air conditioning, and the staff member said she had not known. The whole situation was very unpleasant. The staff were dismissive, unfriendly, and I felt I was not taken seriously. Their attitude, including eye rolling and contradictory explanations, was unacceptable. I also want to mention that the room was first described as not ready, but when I insisted on seeing the room, it suddenly turned out to be ready. The way we were treated made me wonder whether we were treated differently because we are Asian. I cannot know the reason, but that is honestly how I felt. I travel frequently, and I have rarely felt this mistreated at a hotel. The hotel management should seriously look into how confirmed room amenities are handled and how guests are treated at reception. No one apologized, either.

A/C did not work at all. Asked to change rooms or have it fixed and they responded by saying the technician wouldn’t come back until after our stay, and they had no other rooms. However it showed that we could book a room that was available.

Great hotel. Very conveniently located. Parking in the surrounding area was tricky, but luckily, we were returning our rental car anyway. Staff at the front desk had a great recommendation for a taxi company to help us continue our trip. Had dinner at The Tiger across the street - it was wonderful. Super clean and spacious.

We stayed for two nights in a family room which was really equipped for our short stay. The bathroom was clean and functional. The bar area and breakfast are very nice and feel quite new. The staff were super helpful too. We loved the location - only a very short walk to the cathedral and surrounding areas with lots of restaurants, bars and shopping. It’s great to find a hotel with parking - although it is a bit tricky driving down the pavement to find it! We would definitely recommend this place

The hotel is nice, but the distribution almost feels like a maze with stairs. Our room had some door knobs falling off. The parking is ok, but definitely impossible with large vans and staff don't help to find options. They offer a tasty breakfast and some free popcorn

Die Unterkunft wirkt zwar gepflegt, doch bei genauerem Hinsehen offenbaren sich Mängel und die mangelnde Liebe zum Detail bei der Zimmerausstattung. Auch die Ausstattung lässt sich bestenfalls als ausreichend bewerten. Beispielsweise hatten wir einen Parkplatz reserviert, bekamen aber keinen zugewiesen, und bei unserer Ankunft waren alle Plätze belegt.

Pros: comfortable bed, hot shower, very nice reception staff, good location near train station and historic part of town, good pricing, was offered free coffee because of my complaints Cons: housekeeping didn’t leave enough towels, looks like didn’t clean the shower either, safe stopped working and they didn’t change the battery while we were there. They nicely provide lemon water and popcorn in the lobby, but lemon water was bitter and popcorn machine looks like it hadn’t been cleaned in months.
