Dette hotellet var overraskende fortryllende. Rommet var beskjedent, men selve hotellet er svært sjarmerende. Det beste var den fantastiske barmannen, som er en svært begavet jazz pianist. Men frokosten var også overraskende bra. Likte veldig godt små detaljer, sånn som de rosa pastillene man fikk i avskjedsgave. Alt i alt, et overraskende hyggelig sted og god verdi for pengene.

Staff was very nice

Villefranche-Sur-Mer is an ideal spot to use as a home base if you want to visit other communities along the Côte D’Azur and Hôtel Le Provençal is the perfect place to stay. With idyllic views and a buffet breakfast, you are set up for an enjoyable experience. Both Lisa and Maggie at the front desk were extremely helpful when it came to planning our outings. Also Mathias at the bar was a exceptional, charming guests with his piano playing and serving some amazing french wines. I guess the only downside to this beautiful hotel are the thin walls which carry sound easily. But a small price to pay for this charismatic hotel.

This is a little gem (family owned) with sweet guitar evening music and views of the mediterranean. It is up a hill a little but walkable. A park is just around the corner. The staff are so kind and caring. The breakfast is very good and well organized and you can sit out in the garden or inside in air-conditioning on hot summer days. The room was very clean. An older hotel however it has maintained its standards and charm. Not pretentious, comfortable and felt like home. Oh, did I tell you they have a piano, books, games and a bar that is open 24/7 yet the place is quiet. I will return only to this hotel when in VilleFranche Sur mer.

This little gem has 5 stars for me all the way! Their staff was super nice, friendly and very attentive. The service was as good as one gets in a 5 star hotel. I will definitely come back!

Incredibly helpful staff in a charming 1920’s hotel. The hotel has aged gracefully and the garden is beautiful. Rooms comfortable and daily room service with a sustainably focus.

The staff at the Provencal were excellent. A lovely warm welcome when we checked in, and loved the art deco styling - the hotel looks beautiful. Mathias and Lucio who both played beautiful music and looked after the bar really stood out. They made an excellent aperol spritz, gave us jazz club recommendations and really looked after us. The pizzas and cheese and meat plates were really good too. Being able to borrow beach towels and umbrellas was really useful. There was lots of choice for the morning breakfast and the location was great to easily walk into town. A really well run place, with a family vibe that made our stay fantastic. We'd love to return.

Quaint family run hotel with super friendly staff, comfy beds, clean rooms with great A/C, and an amazing breakfast!

Staff absolutely FANTASTIC! So very very helpful and courteous.

Clean property, friendly staff, great location. Only downside is bed mattresses are very hard, not comfortable unless you prefer your mattress very firm and also no in room safe.

We loved our stay at this hotel Loved that they reward eco friendliness with a small gift at check out Loved that they happily accommodated my request for a softer pillow Loved the little courtyard to eat breakfast, lounge in the sun etc Great location but be you need to be quite fit to tackle the steep hill to the town,station etc
